"I designed a simple mantel for my fireplace using architectural styrofoam. My fireplace had a white marble surround and a 9' mirror above it. I did not want to drill holes in the mirror or the marble so this was another situation that had to be considered - how to hang the mantel without drilling holes in the marble and the mirror. I wanted HMMHKB to have someone build and install the mantel per my design and instructions. Steve arrived as scheduled and we went over the details of my design. After careful review, we found that my design was not feasible due to the lack of the proper sized material. Steve re-worked my design and came up with an option that was satisfactory to me. He was very meticulous and precise in making sure that the marble and the mirror were accommodated - trimming the back of the mantel piece to accommodate the marble and mirror and trimming the corbels to accommodate the depth of the mantel. The mantel is perfect. Simple, contemporary and just what I wanted. I have used HMMHKB on several major projects in my home and once again they provided me with a true craftsman. Their work is superb and the entire staff is a joy to work with. I highly recommend HMMHKB for any remodeling or handyman services you require."
