"The project went smoothly. I had a short window in which to work as the furniture on our 1st floor was removed for another project. I set up interviews with a number of companies, received estimates, and Mike's worked out the best. They were honest about how the project saying that some old stains on the floors might not sand out; the stairs treads and risers would need to be sanded by hand, therefore would cost a bit more; and the wood used to patch would not exactly match due to age. All of this I understood since the floors were over 100 years old. They had their staff on site early on the day they said they'd start. They worked as quickly as the weather would allow and the project was completed within the time they expected. Its been almost two years and the floors still look great. I waited a while to make this review in order to see if the work would hold up and it still looks nice. Now I'm hoping for another big project in which the furniture on our 2nd floor will be removed so they can do those floors."

"We had a great experience from beginning till the end. We needed 2200 sq ft of wood flooring over some areas of the first and second floor. Mircea estment and free advice made us go with him. They are knowledgeable and accommodating. I like their punctuality since in the morning I have to drop the kids off to school. The house was clean during installation since we had to live there. Half way through staining process my wife wanted to change the stain. They did not get upset and resanded and restrained with a minimum extra charge. We left the house for few days so they can finish sealing the floors. Upon return they even gave us a hand with moving back some large pieces of furniture that we moved away prior the installation. The team did an amazing - in a time when it can be difficult to communicate with contractors or get a call back - I was thoroughly impressed with the level of communication throughout the entire process and updates on how things were coming along. The harshest of critics has yet to find something they missed.
