"Clint is a true professional. We, our family and friends absolutely love our Patio and Pergola. His crew was polite, they were on time and the project went exactly as Clint had explained it would go. There were no bumps in the road or surprises. The left the work area spotless each day. Clint has stayed in contact with me and even returned a few months after the project was completed to stain my side walk leading from the drive way to the patio...FREE OF CHARGE! I would certainly recommend Clint and his team ( Pro Crete LLC, ) to anyone who needs similar project completed."

"One of the things that makes this a great company is the fact that they actually listen to clients.  They took the time to really understand the requirement and they provided helpful recommendations. <br /> The work they did for me is even better than what I had in mind.  They understood the look that I wanted, the shape of the wall, and the type of stone.  I couldn't be more thrilled with the quality of the work and the professionalism of everyone involved. <br /> I did have to be on a waiting list for a while but that is only to be expected when you have someone who does such quality work and who is in such high demand. <br /> I highly recommend this company and I plan to do business with them in the future! <br />"

"It took several months before they got to me, because they are quite busy, but I was not in a big hurry. They did an excellent job; it looks great! They re-used my brick and did a good job of matching the mortar. They removed the whole area around the cracks, cleaned it up, and then re-assembled it. They also redid some brickwork under a downspout and that looks nice as well. They put new molding and lintel around the garage."

"Richard helped me replace a failed paver walkway and control a problem with runoff.  He did a great job and even helped me remove the old pavers.  He did a great job and for a great price.  This was a somewhat tricky job that needed to be done right to control the rain runoff problem.  It really pays to go with a contractor with experience. <br />"

"<blockquote> <p>We had a minor leak in my bedroom closet. He went into the attic and could not see where the leak was coming from. He looked for the leak from the roof as well and he let me know that my roof should have about 7 years left in it. He was on time and polite but only at my home for about 15 minutes.  </p> </blockquote>"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Scottsboro, AL

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
