"I have worked with Michelle at Changes Interior Design on three home improvement projects over the last three years. The first one was a small interior design project (paint, new curtains, interior décor, etc.) and a year later started a full-blown kitchen/living room remodel. Admittedly, I am a bit indecisive, so I leaned heavily on Michelle for all aspects of the renovation. I knew what color cabinets I wanted and that I wanted stack stone but that was about it. The suggestions she made were spot on and when I couldn't decide on something, she would make a suggestion, show me what she had in mind, tell me to trust her, and not kidding, every suggestion she made I loved! Once we saw how much we liked the kitchen renovations we added in the living room as well. When the remodel was done, I asked Michelle to go shopping with me to pick out pictures, decorations and even towels/shower curtains for the bathroom and there was no hesitation when I asked. Michelle is extremely patient, and I have really enjoy working with her! Whether the project is big or small, she does a fantastic job. We just recently finished our third project (bedroom) and am looking forward to a complete master bathroom remodel in the next year or so. I get compliments all the time on the work we've had done, and we couldn't be happier with the results."

"I highly recommend Gary Sumberg for any home Architectural Drawing and Design work. Initially we had some rough ideas on what we wanted to do, but we were unclear how these ideas would affect our budget, or how to implement them. Gary’s experience and knowledge in construction and design helped us come up with a design that met all of our wants and needs. Through the entire process, Gary was very helpful and patient with helping us design our entire home remodel. Gary met with us on many occasions throughout the process. He is very prompt, and was very responsive to our calls, texts and emails. Gary would quickly prepare draft ideas on paper so he could present them to us for consideration in person, or via email. Gary worked with the Power Company to ensure we could move our electrical panel, and he brought in an engineer to prepare the necessary Engineering report, since we were making so many structural changes. Once a final plan was determined, Gary quickly finalized the drawings, and he made multiple copies for us, the city, and our contractors for bidding. Gary then met with the city of Laguna Niguel on multiple occasions to present our plans and to respond to their comments and questions. In the end our construction permit was obtained, Gary made this permit process very simple for us. In summary we were very happy with Gary and would use him again, and would heavily recommend him to our friends. "Buyer BE Cautious; - Bathroom remodel took 4 weeks -not 1 week as agreed upon - After 2 of the contractors we had to do the clean-up (2-3 hours to clean up each time) -Having issues with cabinet drawer not closing properly and no one is returning our calls On a positive note: the shower / plumbing contractor is AMAZING as were the drywall patch / paint contractors. Countertops / sinks look very nice. Up front, you are promised a lot; - 1 week project - contractors will lay down plastic on carpets and doorways - always do the clean-up and be informed every step of the way... which is NOT what happened. On 3 different times they just never showed up on the day / time they specified - which created issues since have pets. On one occasion the contractor left with our front door wide open and all the sawdust and wood debris on front walkway. - Travel voucher? Have not seen. I will state that we are pleased with end result except the cabinet as well as some of the fixtures - i.e. toilet paper holder and towel rack- which loosened up and fell off within the 1st week after payment. I decided to just repair myself since no one is returning our calls. Will not attempt to use on kitchen countertops as we cannot go weeks without a kitchen and having to board up our pets, nor do I want to have to clean-up on this job every day after work. Joe and David mean well, however follow-up and follow-thru are quite lacking. They could do well by using a checklist and either personally following up with supervisor daily to see if all work is done and clean-ups are performed. They also should follow-up on committed dates and if over-booked (as it appears they were) adjust price by -$100 / per each day they are running behind... Rob is the best part of this company, as is the plumber and 1st Painter. They were top notch!"
