"Brad was super knowledgeable and professional. He checked out our chimney to make sure it was safe, cleaned it, tolerated our crazy dog, and then gave us some recommendations for improvements and he showed and explained everything going on with our fireplace to us, which I really appreciated. We're very happy with the work, can't wait to build a fire this weekend, and are awaiting an estimate for further work from Integrity Chimney Services."

"Excellent work and price. We have a heavy stackable washer/dryer that needed to be moved so the dryer hose could be replaced. Shawn took care of everything and cleaned out the dryer vent that goes out through the roof. Will definitely have him back annually to clean out the dryer vent."

"I was in an emergent situation with a water issue in our basement. My parents are in their early 80’s and not in a place to manage the mess. I had called several businesses looking for cleaning and drying the affected area. "We called to set up a time for the chimney to be cleaned, we recently moved into the house and didn't know when it had last been done or what shape it was in. The day of the appointment Mike called before coming, and he was right on time. In addition to the fireplace we had a question about an opening in the basement that we thought led to the primary chimney. He took the time to look it over and explain that it was a separate one for a wood burning or pellet stove that was in there at some point in the past. He helped us close that up on the roof so no animals or drafts would come down, and did a great job cleaning the fireplace chimney itself. He took some pictures so we could see what the chimney looked like inside, we're now confidently using the fireplace."

"First off, I have to say I really wanted to like these guys.  They were courteous on the phone and were all-around nice people.  However, things just didn't work out. <br /> I called M&M to come and take a look at my central air/forced air unit because it wasn't functioning.  The air wasn't cold and there was no air coming out of most of the vents.  They sent two guys out who looked around the house at the unit and the rooms.  They didn't really have an answer for us and said they had to call the owner in to get a better idea of what was going on.  They charged me $65 for a service call although they really didn't do anything. <br /> We made an appointment for a week or so later for Mike to come in and check the system out.  He showed up nearly one hour late (no phone call).  He said he decided to sleep in because he had been traveling the previous couple days and that his employee had to come and wake him up.  My wife and I were literally 5 minutes from leaving for the day because we were getting tired of waiting with no calls. <br /> When they showed up, Mike and Joe did another walk around the house looking at everything.  They found that the compressor was empty and that they saw one point where there was a leak. They found some issues with the duct work as well.  They were admittedly confused by the installation design of the system and once again said they had to bring someone else in for yet another opinion. <br /> We made the appointment for five days later during the morning ("around 11am").  I live 30 minutes from work, so I had to leave at 10:30am to get home for 11.  I waited until 11:35am, then called their office and left a voice mail stating I couldn't wait anymore and had to go back to work.  Driving back to work another 30 minutes, I will have lost 90 minutes of work time (and pay). <br /> I got a call when I was nearly back to work telling me they were stuck in traffic and should be there soon.  Now, when I have an appointment and am going to be late, I have the sense to call my customer and let them know so they're not waiting.  To me, "around 11am" means anywhere from 10:50 to 11:10.  Not 11:30.  Not 11:40.  Not 11:50, especially without any phone call letting me know they were stuck in traffic.  They let me sit and wait and eventually be forced to leave and go back to work so I wouldn't lose any more money. <br /> I can't understand how someone can conduct business like that.  At least have the courtesy to call me and tell me you're going to be 40 minutes late. <br /> In the end, this ordeal cost me nearly three weeks of time that I could have had someone else examining and hopefully fixing my system, $65 for a service call where no service was done (I thought they had free estimates?),  $45 from missed work, and 30 miles in gas to drive back and forth.  It's too bad because now I need to start over with a new company and go through all of this again.  It's going to start getting cold soon and we don't have any heat. <br /> I know M&M has a lot of excellent ratings and I think they probably deserve them.  However, my particular experience was not good and based on that, I would be hesitant to refer them to anyone. <br /> <br />"
