"We are still extremely pleased with the kitchen remodel completed by Fortin Construction. They were attentive to our wants/needs, fixed all the problem areas, and completed the project to our satisfaction in only 2 weeks. We have even hired them again to install new windows and were totally satisfied once again. We would definitely highly recommend them, and would hire them again for future projects."

"I wish the letter ratings had plus and minus values because Brent was a
B+ for most of these categories. He was easy to work with and we felt the pricing was very fair. Our hesitancy to post A ratings overall is because of two issues: We know that he sometimes left the work until the last minute and therefore had to rush through things which was the reason for the second complaint: There was inconsistent quality in the details. For instance, when it came time to put the knobs on the cabinets I said that I could do it myself. He insisted that he, as a professional could do a better job so I let him do it. The knobs were put on in a rush(by his own admission) and were not leveled or centered very well. We felt this was such a shame as he had done such a beautiful job putting the cabinets in.

But overall we were happy with the work. We live far away in Baltimore and it has been hard to find good contractors who we could work with from a distance. Brent was flexible and put up with a lot of messaging back and forth.

We would use him again in fact we have more work lined up for him to do.
"

"I was sent to Maine Coast Kitchen by referral from my realtor. I had been to 3 different kitchen design places (including Home Depot) and was even contemplating buying the off the shelf cabinets and doing it myself just to get it done (EEKS, that would have been a disaster.)
When I looked up this firm, I immediately called my realtor and reminded him that I am not a wealthy person. He told me politely to hush up and go talk to Tina (the beautiful and gracious owner of this place) anyways.
Tina asked me to send her my Home Depot quote, and then without warning blows me out of my seat by asking and quot;If I can meet or beat this, will you work with me..and quot; OF COURSE! She's had me to go her gallery on Commercial St., she's feeding me truffles, and water on a hot summer's day... how could I say no to this? I put in a deposit, figuring worst case scenario I get the same design, better cabinets, and granite.
I should also mention my kitchen space is not easy to design in. I have 4 doors, 3 windows, and an archway to work with. I also wanted an island, which I was told in my long narrow kitchen was IMPOSSIBLE. I don't believe in impossible, and luckily Catherine(Tina's AMAZING designer) didn't either.
Catherine met me in my ragamuffin renovation dusted home within the week (must better than any other design company) and took measurements. I gave her a sample of the flooring I had just put in. She asked me about how I use my kitchen, my cooking habits (there's a lot of those, I truly believe it's the heart of the home), and what happens in the space in general. She asked me about our dreams (we don't have kids yet, we're just trying really hard to make that happen.. and for once I felt like someone heard that, and understood a permanent change should account for future dreams).
I met them a couple days later in the Commercial St office again to see my design. I took my Mom, this is kind of a big deal... and if there was ever anyone would would give me a brutally honest opinion.. it was Mom. We both left there floored with the design. Things I would never in a million years have chosen because of silly rules I set for myself sat in MY new kitchen. I say MY new kitchen, because already it was mine, made for me, and encompassing who I am. It was like Catherine had known me as long as my Mom had. It was perfect.
Catherine even worked with me in picking paint colors, and the back splash... stuff she certainly is under no obligation to do. Did I mention she added an island? Oh and they beat all 3 prices I had received.
I do promise to tell everyone about you Catherine and Tina. I already have. You will soon have a client from 7 hours away, who wants you... and only you to do for her what you've done for me.
I'll leave you with the note I sent the ladies after my granite was installed.
Hi Catherine and Tina!
Not sure if the guys will be getting the photos they took to you, but I wanted to send you what I have. I still need to do a bit of trim work around the windows... but everything looks SO amazing!
As soon as I have some finalized photos I will post on Houzz, and I'll start working on some rave reviews shortly. Kevin and I truly cannot thank you enough for your brilliant design, our house not only feels like a home, it feels like OUR home. As soon as the granite went in today I finally started to relax, feel a bit more at peace, and now I take great pride in the heart of my home.
Your staff has also been completely wonderful. Being in renovation mode and dealing with a variety of contractors, there are often hurdles and bumps along the way... but Maine Coast definitely did everything they possible could to eliminate those stumbling blocks for us. You have a wonderful staff, both at the design center and installing your granite. Thank you again, so very much, for an amazing experience.

"

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair. The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time.
Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot.
I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. It requiress a "leap of faith" to order an expensive unit from an out-of-state provider with no prior mutual history, but I can attest to my complete satisfaction.
WRS

"

"Great! We have used this company for most all of our metal needs. From decorative items, to structural work, to repair of a 40-ton screw jack. Very cooperative, flexible, adaptive, and reasonably priced. If it's metal and needs work...this is who to call."
