"Once again, we had an excellent experience with Custom Exteriors. 11 years ago, we purchased Milgard windows for the whole house from Custom Exteriors which included a lifetime warranty. Overall, we've been happy with the windows. But recently one of the window's metal crank mechanisms broke. First, we called Milgard, but they were giving us the run around. We next called Custom Exteriors and talked with Chris the Service Coordinator. We explained the situation and how Milgard wasn't being helpful. Despite Custom Exteriors not working with Milgard windows anymore, Chris still agreed to send out a couple of service guys to fix the window. We told Chris that we would be happy to pay for one additional window crank to be replaced since it's the same age as the one that broke. Chris said that Custom Exteriors would replace that crank for free as well even though it wasn't broken. It's been a few days since both windows' cranks were replaced, and everything is working great. Thank you, Chris, and Custom Exteriors!"

Dan spent nearly two hours with us, patiently and thoroughly answering all of our questions, providing direct and honest advice, and ultimately helping us decide on our best course of action. He and his experienced team of subcontractors replaced all of our windows and sliding doors, replaced our wood siding with new stucco (including new building paper and plywood sheathing), installed new insulation and drywall, and handled all of the interior painting. "Zach committed to be the kit home assembly and finish contractor, building upon a foundation to be provided by others. I paid a $1500 retainer to Zach in mid-2017 to come up to speed on assembling the kit home, and to prepare a detailed cost estimate. I provided 80% plans (with all detail relevant to his work finalized) in mid-October 2017. I delivered the plans and requested a cost estimate within 4 to 6 weeks. I inquired again in January 2018 and in July 2018 as to progress. Zach advised me in August 2018 that he would not act as contractor due to high increases by his subcontractors (due a local fire-replacement building boom). I said that I still needed the cost estimate, and he agreed to complete it. Due to his family difficulties, I deferred the deadline until November. No cost estimate was ever produced. After a 15-month delay, when I advised him that I wanted a full refund, he returned $1000, charging me $500 for ZERO work product. Stay clear of this contractor!"
