"I am a house painter in Texas and a friend of mine has a house In Terre Haute which needed painting. The house was built in the early 1900's but is serving as a rent house, so we needed someone to come and repaint (read weatherproof) the house without spending a ton of money. <br /> I called approximately 12 housepainters in Terre Haute from my home in Texas. Only a few got back to me, but John Bethea of Jand S Painting was the one who responded in the most professional manner. He went and looked at the house and sent us a bid. It turned out to be the lowest bid, so we hired him, and we're glad that we did. <br /> It's a bit scary trying to conduct business by long distance, but Mr. Bethea put our mind at ease right away. We wanted the body of the (3 story) house done right away, and were going to wait until next year to do the trim. He was more than willing to share all of the information about working on the house, and was able to point out several problem areas around the house which needed a carpenter's attention before he painted. He worked very well with the carpenter. <br /> John also checked in to review with me which products and types of paint he was going to use. I really appreciated that, because I could tell from the products he chose that he was using quality materials rather than just going for what was cheapest. He and his crew took care of the prep and the priming, and caulked several areas that needed it badly. Mr. Bethea was always happy to do that little extra bit that takes the job from being average to being great work. He called and checked in whenever there were questions rather than making decisions for us, and sent pictures whenever possible to show us what he was talking about. <br /> When the actual painting began he and his crew sprayed on the paint and back-rolled it to make sure that it went on evenly, a sure sign of a professional at work. We got great reports on him from the neighbors on either side of the house, and he was very careful to respect their property and let them know what he was doing when it affected them. We were working on a deadline of having the house painted before the winter weather came in, and he respected that and finished in good time, even though he took care to touch up lots of little things that some other painters would have left. <br /> Mr. Bethea stands by his work and will do what is necessary to make sure that the job comes out right. We plan on rehiring John to paint the trim on the house next year, and look forward to working with him again. <br />"

"He came promptly as planned, gave us his estimate, and spent about a half hour going over the details of the solution he uses for powerwashing and the kind of stain and sealer he uses for the deck. He mailed me the figures and asked me to contact him if we were interested in hiring him. We had several other estimates done. We decided to go with him largely because of how much time he took with us to tell us how he would do our house and because he did the staining and sealing of the deck himself. Not all the powerwash people do that. He came as planned, did a beautiful job with the powerwashing and came back a few days later to do the staining and sealing. We negotiated a few extras on the spot and he did not charge me extra, which I appreciated. Every transaction and conversation that I experienced with the office was made pleasant with kindness and knowledgeable understanding of the roofing process. Every step of the way Re-Construction took care with my case and improved my home with a new roof. I have since, through the mail, received a warranty for the new roof, a thank you card, and a birthday card. What a great touch! I recommend Re-Construction as a solid and good place to get a roof put on with care."

"It was a rainy Monday, but the company arrived at our home at 8am and waited out the weather.  They walked around the house with my husband and me to note any landscaping that was particularly fragile. (roses, hostas, mums and lilies).  The supplies had already been delivered so the crew got to work.   I didn't know what to expect with noise and mess and although there was plenty of both, the crew was very professional and efficient in their  efforts.    It took about 10 hours from start to finish and with only one rotten board to be replaced.   This was the first roof replacement I have experienced and this company did it right!  The owner was on sight numerous times to ensure everything was going well.  He answered my countless questions and explained what would happen from beginning to end.   I was quite concerned that the crew would never be able to pick up the zillions of roofing pieces, nails, shingles, etc.  However, there was not a scrap of material or nail in sight after they were finished.  They even cleaned out the gutters and the garage!  I would highly recommend Seamless Restoration for a new roof or repair.  They are professional, courteous, efficient and neat.  Extra stars to the employees for stopping to meet our dog who had to inspect everything, snoop in their lunchboxes and insist on being petted. <br />"
