"I have been using Dan Collins for over a year.  Last year, I bought a 16-year-old house that still had builder's grade white paint throughout the interior.  I arranged for a painter, who changed his mind on the day he was supposed to start. I received Dan's contact information, called him that same morning, and he was out to look at the house that afternoon. It was a large job - 2400+ square feet, with every wall, ceiilng, and piece of trim, crown molding, chair rails, etc. needing to be painted.  He knew I was under a time crunch to get the work done and even though he had other jobs on his calendar, he still managed to put together a crew of 14 guys to come in over the weekend, set up scaffolding where needed, get a huge jump-start on the project.  He made sure there were at least 3 guys at my house every weekday, and then arranged for another large group to come in the following weekend.  The quality of the workmanship was nothing short of excellent.  His guys were polite, respectful, hardworking, diligent, and every single day they cleaned up their entire work area.  About 5 months later, I had his guys come back to paint our staircase, banisters, and the second floor railing which overlooks the first floor family room.  Again, another excellent job.  Most recently (2 weeks ago) I had his guys back again to paint the exterior trim around all our windows, our garage door, front door, two rear doors (one requiring repair due to wood rot), and once again, excellent work.  In the fall, we will bring Dan back in to paint our finished basement.  I wouldn't use anyone else!"

"Mike was great to work with in planning and providing an estimate for the painting work. We scheduled several weeks into the future and the crew arrived exactly on time as scheduled. The three workers were very neat, respectful, skilled, clean and very professional. Floors were carefully covered and no paint was dripped or splashed anywhere. All questions were satisfactorily answered by the crew as the work progressed. When done, everything in the house looked perfect. Finished the job in three days. This is my third painting with this company. They have done both inside and outside painting for me and I am very satisfied with all aspects of their work."

"Proper Painting has done a lot of work throughout our home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! They painted our 1,000+ sq. ft. in-law suite, including all the doors and windows, plus our entire main home and stairs. My spare room/office used to be a bright blue teal with black trim (my daughter’s old room), and they repainted it in Honey Wheat with white trim. Ive had an amazing experience with Jay, his brother Serge and the crew that worked on my home for 3 weeks. They have worked closely with my designer and painted the entire home. "I had a leak upstairs in my 2nd floor bathroom which in turn ruined most of my first floor ceiling and floors. It was stressful and I was not sure what to do first despite my insurance covering the damages. Trying to find the right people was very difficult. "We contacted Comfort Basements as a starting point in our research on foundation repair and basement waterproofing, toward a grander plan of adding on to our home. Jesse came out to visit us for a free inspection and estimate, and unbeknownst to us, some really awesome advice about how to proceed with our grander plans. While we still know that we need to waterproof and repair a portion of our foundation, Jesse honestly and openly told us that we needed to start with an architect and get our "Grand Plans" in order before he could give us any estimates on any kind of work that would need to be done, depending on what would need to be done structurally to support the addition. He also suggested somethings NOT to do in the mean time, and how we might proceed from here.
While we're not working with Jesse and Comfort Basement at the moment, he will be at the top of our list when the time does come! Big thanks to him. Highly recommend!

"The work they did was absolutely beautiful!  It looked professionally done with flawlessly  smooth walls and perfect edges.  We left them a key and they let themselves in and out each day.  At the end of each day, the house was clean and there was no worries about our toddler knocking something over.
One room had been wallpapered and we removed the wallpaper ourselves.  They washed, spackled (lots of spackle) and sealed the room before priming and painting it.  They also caulked the trim which had pulled from the walls.  The room looked perfect and there was no sign of the added destruction we did with the paper removal.
The second room was a dining room that was painted deep red.  We wanted it painted a light blue.  There were accents that were already in place which we wanted to be left the way they were.  The had to paint around columns and other parts.  When they were finished, the the blue was vibrant and the lines were perfect.
The final room was the bathroom where the drywall tape had started to pull away.  They fixed it and need to match the existing paint. Everything matched perfectly, and you could't tell any work ever needed to be done.  
When the work was done, the paint had been labeled and left so we could use it if we needed it in the future. At first I though the price was a little high, but when we met at the end (two days later) he let us know all the extra work he did, I thought it was a steal. Even though extra work was done so the final product was perfect, he didn't charge us extra over the estimate.
Tim was a pleasure to work with.  His estimate was accurate and he really knew his stuff.  I highly recommend Prep Prime and Paint if you want something done the right way, the first time.
