"Square Footage were professional, on time and excellent installers. They were quick to give me an estimate and start the project. When I watched their work I could not help just keep saying, “Wow! You guys do outstanding work .” They paid attention to every details. They always kept the work site clean. The crew was very respectful. I was so pleased with the finished patio. They are a five star quality company. I could not have been more pleased"

"Keith listened carefully to our needs and preferences and then created an artistic design that incorporated some of our favorite plants with his recommendations for hardy plants that would show off in several seasons. He was accommodating with our revisions. <br /> The crew worked diligently and efficiently to prepare the beds and get the plants in the ground. They tried hard to please. They also installed a small paver patio, which looks beautiful and blends in well with some existing concrete. <br /> A subcontractor did a fine job of installing a large concrete patio in front and some aprons along the driveway, blending these also with some existing concrete. We had some trouble with the sealing coat not covering uniformly, but, as it was explained to us, that is likely the fault of some new products that must meet recent environmental standards. <br /> The company's billing was a little confusing--a minor point. <br /> Overall we are very pleased with our new landscaping and would highly recommend Jay-Crew. <br />"

"It went great. Carlos was able to come give me an estimate the same day I called; they were able to do the work one week later. The crew of five arrived mid-afternoon on a very hot July day and was finished in about 4 hours. I was not home when they arrived, but got there about 2 hours later. Most of the work was finished by then, except for trimming the crab tree and doing the driveway work. The newly edged flower beds looked wonderful with fresh mulch. An ivory halo dogwood shrub was planted in place of the Rose of Sharon and a few additional coral bells were planted to supplement some I already had. It was a lot of hard work, especially hauling away all the branches trimmed from the two large bushes and the crab tree, but they did a beautiful job and cleaned up the yard afterward. Carlos was able to re-use the original railroad ties and had them realigned and spiked in place in much less time than I thought the job would take. They also sprayed the weeds in the gravel driveway. The yard looks much nicer now."

"First, my phone call with Dave was very helpful as he instructed me how to close the garage door even though the opener was not working. Second, Matthow, the person who completed the work was outstanding. He arrived prior to the scheduled appointment and did everything he could to repair the existing opening system. As it was the computer component that failed, he was not able to complete the repair. Thus, he installed a new system. He was courteous, respectful, and explained what he as doing prior to doing it. I highly recommend this company and will hire them should I need them again in the future."

"Throughout the whole process, Kevin stayed in touch via text messages and never failed to do what he promised to do and when he promised to do it. The finished product was more than we expected. This is a top-notch company that no one should have any reservations in using. Very professional and very well-equipped. They also do new paving for CVS Pharmacies in Indiana. <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Selma, IN

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
