Everything went well, except the painting portion. 

The drywall, removal and install and the mud portion was excellent quality and service

The window removal and install was excellent quality

The painting preps and quality standards of hiding the nails and caulking was not up to where it should have been. It took two trips to have the painter complete the project where it needed to be.

Otherwise would recommend this company they are punctual, professional and do quality work and ensure that the customer is satisfied with the job.

"Palm Construction used subcontractors at every stage (not unusual), but there was little to no oversight. Communication was a problem. I am doubtful that the product (Trex decking) was installed according to **manufacturers guidelines** and worry what that may mean to the longevity of the final product. Some parts of the install were handled brilliantly and with finesse. Other parts were done hurriedly, resulting in damage to the substructure. Palm has made efforts to repair or redo, as necessary, which I appreciate, but some of their promises fell by the wayside."

"Joshua Washburn is the owner of HMP Contracting. He is fantastic. We hired him to put in a chain link fence for a very large yard in Sequim. He was on time, very friendly, very competent and reliable. His crew worked in the rain and still got the job done quickly and in a totally satisfactory manner. We asked him to put in a hand rail with the left over material on two different places where we have rock steps leading to the lower part of the yard. Instead he had the crew build us beautiful wooden handrails that look great in the yard at no extra charge. Our neighbors have commented on how good the fence looks. So our advice is look no further for a general contractor called HMP Contracting."
