"He was amazing. The man knows his stuff. He got people in here. For instance, I have an extremely long driveway and he made certain that the trucks hauling in the concrete didn't break up the ground. The completed work takes 20 years off the look of the house. It was an old estimate and he honored that plus the percentage off. In addition, some kids had walked through it overnight and he came back to sand out the footprints. He also dug out some sticks on a patio that were 30 years old and fixed up the patio. He watched over it like a mother hen watches her eggs. I offered to write him a great letter of recommendation and he said that he's perfectly content with his reviews on Angie's List."

"Excellent job from beginning to end. Everyone was personable and professional from Estimator Paul, Manny and his entire installation crew, Joe his supervisor and Katie in the office. Would recommend for any roofing needs."

"Griff came out and went over the details of the job with me. He measured square footage, checked the slope of the land, explained the process, including explaining the moisture shield and wire reinforcement. He asked how and where I wanted the equipment trucks and cement truck to go. He made sure I knew exactly what to expect. He and his crew arrived on time each day. They came out after the cement had hardened and cleaned up everything perfectly. He asked if I had someplace I wanted them to put the little pieces of concrete or if I wanted him to take the concrete. I have a runoff ravine and he purposefully placed them where they would do the most good. They raked the dirt neatly around the slab and put the grass plugs in the dirt. The grass is already being established. I highly recommend Griff's Concrete. In fact we are hiring him again to put in front sidewalks and a little patio. You might find somebody who says they will do it cheaper but it won't be better.
"

"It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out fine. The price was good. It was $99 for 3 hours, which was good. They were good. They were there on time and finished the work on time."

"I was concerned because of some cracks in the outside walls of my ocala-block house (built in the mid-50s), particularly near to a large live oak which I suspected my be sending roots under the foundation. Ram Jack's representative Jason Cain met me at my house and performed a very thorough investigation (inside and out) and determined that I did not have any foundation problems at this time. Mr. Cain was friendly and very articulate, and explained carefully what he was looking for and what he found. Both my wife and I were very impressed with his professionalism. I will certainly contact Ram Jack Solid Foundations again if I ever have a problem with my foundation, and I will recommend them to others.
"

"The package was to include caulking and minor repairs, all exterior painting, washing and prepping of all surfaces, and labor. Paint was to be paid for by the homeowner. We ALSO had to purchase the caulking, the blue tape and papers for covering the windows. They were to start on either March 31 or April 1, but when I called Mike to let him know they could start on Apr. 1, he said they had another job to do that day, and they would start on April 2. They did start on April 2nd, but never showed up until almost 10 in the morning, and the same thing happened on the two following days. Mike did very little of the actual work, he left many, many times, especially on the first 2 days. He seemed to spend a lot of time on his cell phone, when the others were working. His "helpers', Julian and Marty, did 90% or more of the actual work, and they worked well. On the third day, when they thought they were done and were packing up to leave, we had to point out to them areas that needed to be touched up or finished. They also had to use our ladders which were in our garage, as they didn't seem to have any of their own.
I also hired Mike to pressure wash our pool deck and fence, and we'd agreed on a price ($200) but the work was done by Marty and Julian, again. Mike told me at least 3 times during the course of the 3 days that he hadn't been paid by Angie's List yet, that Angie's List took 30% of his pay, and asked more than once about the price of the pressure washing. I told him that I paid up front for the entire job when I contracted him on Angie's List. We were considering having some additional staining or painting work done to the fence by Mike, but changed our minds by the third day. I feel that he may be having some financial stress, but that is not my concern with a contractor. I expect the contractor to keep his personal problems to himself.
"

"This job included a 32' x 44' pool deck connected to an 11' x 22' outdoor kitchen area, and both are connected to a 16' x 32' back patio, all done in stamped concrete.
Corby was always on time, the job took the amount of time that Corby projected it would take, and when he was done the job site was clean and we could not have been happier with how it looks. Stamped concrete is MUCH more stable than pavers (they don't build homes on foundations made of pavers) and we had many choices of stamp patterns and colors. Corby helped us with the selection of stamp pattern and guided us in regards to placement of the drain and grading of the concrete to ensure proper water runoff. During our discussion of colors, Corby on several occasions pointed out the slight hints of colors that that I could not see in the sample panels that my wife could see but I could not (I am not good at matching colors) and Corby guided us to select colors that went together well, all the while asking many questions about our color preferences to ensure that we were choosing colors that not only looked well together, but were colors that we liked.
Corby does good work. The decks drain well, look great, and judging by the 4 year old stamped concrete patio tha we have in front of our home, last much better than pavers.
This is the second stamped concrete job that we have had done by Impressions Decorative Concrete. The 1st job was a small patio in front of our house, about 15' x 18', that is now the envy of the neighborhood.
"

"APD came highly recommended from a well known realtor. I contacted Joey on a Saturday and he was at our home the next day (family included, as they were enjoying their weekend). Estimate, proposal with drawing and detailed scope of services and job start within 2 weeks. Jeff and crew came out and completed within 3 days. FOR SUBSTANTIALLY LESS than every other competitor. I believe Jeff is The House Whisperer. No joke. Doors and windows open/close with ease, locks no longer need “jiggling”, floors are solid. Walls straightened out. And nothing rolls. All is LEVEL. We’re hiring them again for additional work. You should too."
