"2020 has passed and we couldn't be happier with our completed first floor project, thanks to Jim Rutherford Construction. Jim was willing to tackle what other local well known contractors were either unwilling to consider or bid so high as to be unaffordable. Our project proved to be a technical challenge from the onset, raise the ground floor by almost a foot of concrete, completely rebuild the first floor by installing 3 impact French doors, 3 impact doors and 4 impact windows, cut off support an internal staircase including modifying framing around a dumbwaiter, reframe and replace every exterior wall from 4' down. Plus an added surprise rebuilding and repairing 45' of a heavily spalled concrete tie-beam in less than a week. We're still amazed at how quickly and confidently Jim set about taking on the project, he seemed to have it figured out before we even committed to getting started. He knew just right carpenters and subs to assign the work to. Once they began, they never stopped till the project was completed. Workmanship was outstanding, inspections were a breeze. I commend Jim and his crew for the quality of work and attention to detail, no shortcuts taken, stainless hardware/fasteners throughout and only pressure treated lumber. Add them all up and we have a completely new remodeled permitted downstairs ready to withstand the elements. It is without hesitation we'd recommend Jim Rutherford Construction for any project or home construction. Professional, polite and a pleasure to do business with."

The door for the enclosure was never installed. I have called many times and left messages. They wanted me to sign a service contract. Never! I will look for a reputable service company. I have contacted the Generac main office to file complaints."

Lundy Septic employees 5 people at the present time. At the present time we do not have any financing options available.
"Called to get septic pumped bc it started backing up and was told we had to wait a week, ok fine. we waited! Day of our appointment and they tell me they're not coming down my road and servicing me because it looks bad and they're scared to get stuck. Told them it's fine 20 plus ppl live on this road small cars and big trucks and they make it just fine, you have to stay on the middle of road and don't hug the sides and you'll be ok. I've been waiting a week already, took the day off work and have kids and we desperately need it pumped. They told me "we've already made our decision and you need to call another company, sorry". This is not how you treat people or customer's. Most peoples septic's are in the woods, grass, dirt, etc. NOT on paved property/roads. Being able to get down a dirt road, through someone's flood yard from the septic shouldn't be problem for ya'll. A bunch of whiners not even willing to try. Worst customer service!"

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.
Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.
Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.
The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.
If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.
