"We were very happy with the work done by Shane at Screens n Things!  Our original screens that were replaced were screens that were in individual frames and clipped to the window openings.  Shane installed new screens that are now in between two pieces of wood trim...no more clips and a very clean look.  We are so happy with how nice the new screens look.  The procedure Shane used now provides us with much cleaner looking lines and nice, tight screens.  The newly installed door looks great too.  We will definitely be calling on Shane's services for our future screening needs!"

"First, my phone call with Dave was very helpful as he instructed me how to close the garage door even though the opener was not working. Second, Matthow, the person who completed the work was outstanding. He arrived prior to the scheduled appointment and did everything he could to repair the existing opening system. As it was the computer component that failed, he was not able to complete the repair. Thus, he installed a new system. He was courteous, respectful, and explained what he as doing prior to doing it. "Contacted Dowdy Allinone, within a short time they setup an appointment to stop by, and see what I was looking for. William is a very friendly and easy to work with guy. He came by and told me to pick out the door purchase it, and he would be back for the receipt at a setup time to pick up the door. Dowdy showed up on time they received the door and delivered it in good condition. He was very fair, and even let me go with him to the store to purchase materials which isn't something you find very often. Dowdy showed me some falls in the area we were changing the door out in. He showed me the floor was rotted as well as some other areas around where the door was being installed. He however told me everything is fixable he gave me a price to fix the floor, and some other areas around where it had rotted. As everyone knows prices can also start to increase when the project begins. Dowdy however never let me down I got a little nervous when he started pulling off siding pieces, however Dowdy is experienced in siding, and he made it look easy and replaced all the pieces with no issue. Dowdy has no issues watching him work I was only there in case any issues arose he could address them to me. I originally hired him to just install a door, but I always know things don't go as expected. At the end of the day I ended up with: New sliding door, New Trim inside and outside, new entry way flooring, new sub-floor in entry way, new door woodwork, and new trim around entry way flooring. The original price was very fair, and almost shocking to see how competitive Dowdy was that even after all the other modifications, I still expected to pay way more. I would Highly-Recommend Mr Dowdy and his crew to future clients, co-workers, family, and friends. Thank you Mr Dowdy and your crew!"

"They were fine. They were nice. I couldn't really tell how good of a job they did. The chimney wasn't that dirty on the inside anyway. I have no idea how to determine whether they did a good or bad job. There was an upcharge, which I didn't really understand. What they were saying was, if there's a metal lining, there's no extra charge. But, if there's no metal lining on the chimney, they charge extra. It was $35 extra. They called and said that they were running late and it was the end of the day before they finally got there."

"Our energy company provided a free audit that revealed that the insulation in our walls was very low due to settling. They recommended a company, whom I called. They offered to dense-pack gaps for the walls, attic and the space between the first and second floor for around $7,500. <br /> I called Momper, who gave a bid for the same service, for under $5,000. The salesman explained that this was a and quot;worst caseand quot; price, assuming the walls were completely empty. Since there was some insulation, he said the price would likely be less. He even gave me a rule of thumb, just to give me an idea, but explained he could not nail it down because they can't tell how much insulation actually exists in the walls. After the service was performed, the actual bill was for under $2,000. It was a very pleasant surprise. <br /> The actual insulation is made of recycled newspaper. It is a very good insulator and makes great use of what would otherwise be a waste product. <br /> The service was completed in about five days. The technician removed pieces of siding, drilled a hole, filled the space with insulation, and replaced the siding. By all appearances, we would not otherwise know any work had been done. <br /> While the coldest days have yet to come, we have noticed a big difference. When the heater runs, it stays warm, long after the fan has stopped. Previously, it ran almost continuously, even in moderate temperatures. <br /> I am very pleased with this service and would recommend Momper to anyone who needs insulation. <br />"
