"Rick and team were great. The front walk to my home had sunk and slid away from the small front patio, leaving a dangerous trip hazard. Material under the patio slab had washed out, and the patio had developed a hollow sound. Turned out there wasn't much holding that slab up any more. Rick filled the void under the patio slab so it is properly supported, lifted the sunken sections of sidewalk so they are properly level, and filled the gap between the sidewalk and patio slab. Communication was terrific throughout. Rick was friendly, responsive, and informative. In fact, when he came out for the estimate I also requested a quote on a small masonry repair needed on my brick home; Rick suggested I should do that one myself instead of paying him and talked me through how to do it. (he was right, and following his advice I was able to make that repair) I would definitely hire All City Mudjacking and Masonry again."

"At the end of the inspection I was positive that I was not going to use him. He gave me like a huge laundry list of things that needed to be done. After he was finished he said that it would cost me $15000. There was no way all of this going be $15000. It was like these little things he tarried about because he wanted to get paid as the coupons were so cheap. He had no suggestions about minimum cost. The thing about him was he did not give us any options, everything he gave was for us to do things. There are always levels of priority and I did not get anything at all from him."

"<p>Our front porch was sagging and needed to be replaced.  We called 3 different construction companies and  chose Rock Solid Construction.  They were very prompt with the estimate and starting our new porch,  First they demolished the old porch and discarded the original cement. They then dug the hole and poured the footings for the new cement deck.  After that the walls were poured and finally the deck floor was poured.  Rock Solid also put a decortative touch around the perimeter of the deck floor for an added touch.  There was only minimal damage to our lawn from the digging.  When they were done, everything was picked up and in order.  We were very satisfied from the initial estimate to the finished product..  We would highly recommend them.</p> ."

"Work began on May 30th as they removed stumps and old concrete that I was unable to do. Then they leveled, laid gravel, set rebar and poured concrete. Every step of the process was precise and professional. Arrival was always timely and each night before they left both sides of the street were cleaned well. The last sealant was applied yesterday (6/10). I was always treated with respect and any questions I had were concisely answered. I know the price seems high but this job was well worth it."

"Quality of the work was good. Had to remind them to clean up the jobsite after they said they were done. Subs they used made bad solder joint and one drilled a hole through my pool filter. No one actually answers the phone at Basten's office. It's been a month since I sent my bills to them for the repairs/replacement of damaged equipment. We paid our down-payment and final bill immediately. Wish I was getting the same courtesy."

"Three service installers arrived on time.  In fact they called to say if they can arrive earlier which I was happy they can.    They put down a rug to protect my floor and plastic to protect the stairs going down to the basement (carpet).  They went right into the installation.  They were all very professional and kind.  They were very careful working in our home and cleaned up after they finished.   They then explained to me about the defective pump emergency alarm and the battery it takes.  Also explained how to replace the batteries in two controller boxes.  Now that this job is complete I will have "peace of mind" that my basement will not flood.   I only had one pump before, now I have two electric and one battery backup sump motors.
