"Yuri and his team did a fabulous job on upgrading my electrical panel and installing a whole house generator. Their work was meticulous, precise and clean and the inspector was very impressed with their work. The quote for the bid was fair, honest with no headgames or BS and this is important for women. I am glad I hired this company and they do guarantee their work."

"Excellent experience with Brook Forest Electric. It’s rare to find a local team that truly understands the high stakes of industrial operations, but they nailed it. We brought them in for some specialized troubleshooting on our controllers and a MUCH needed panel upgrade at our facility. They were professional, stayed focused on our safety protocols, great at communication, and kept our uptime a priority so we didn't lose our valuable production time, especially with us being a smaller local business. I was so impressed with their commercial work that I actually had them out to my house for a residential fix last week. Even on a smaller scale, they brought that same industrial-level precision and attention to detail. It’s great to have a dependable, locally owned specialist, and I highly recommend them for both your business and beyond! Thank you!"

"Overall the remodel went very well and the finished space is better than we hoped. The staff of High Country Home Improvement, and the plumbing and electrical subs were efficient, skilled, and respectful. From demolition, through framing, drywall, tile, painting and finish carpentry High Country's (Kyle, Cody, Brandon efforts were very good. The project had some unplanned challenges, which were handled promptly and without argument. Even a neighbor commented on the politeness of the workers."

"They did a good job and left the place clean but there were several things that I didn't like.
1) I was hoping they would try to fix the old shower control knob.  The only problem was that the retaining ring that held in the cartridge was corroded and stuck on.  I tried to get it off, and my neighbor who was a retired plumber tried to get it off, but it was stuck.  My neighbor said he would have tried to carefully cut the ring off with a hack saw.  Since the ring did not provide seal, but only held in the cartridge, a little damage on the threads would have been OK.  But we needed a new ring before we could try that.  I ordered a new ring, but my neighbor moved away before we could try it.  I told all this to the 2 men Pro-Serv sent, and they said they believed me that it was stuck, and that I needed a new system.  They did not consider cutting off the ring.  The replacement involved cutting the drywall on the wall behind the shower.  I told them I would take care of the drywall myself and they replaced the system for $590.
2) They never asked me what brand or design of shower system I wanted, but installed a Moen system.  This was OK, but they threw away the boxes, and installation guides which I would have wanted to keep. If nothing else, I wanted to know the model number so I could get replacement parts in the future.  From what I fished out of the trash, I got the model number, and it looked like they had purchased the entire system.  But they replaced everything except the top pipe coming out of the wall with the shower head.  I don't know for sure they had purchased those parts, but if they did, I would have liked to keep them.
3) They replaced the tub drain for $290.  I said I thought that was high (the part is only about $30.), but they said since the drain was so badly corroded, it was a high risk job.  I knew that there was a good chance the drain would break instead of coming out, and that they might have to do a major job, but I would think that if that happened, they would have to raise the price anyway.  As it was, it came out OK.
4) I wanted an automatic shutoff system for my cloths washer and showed them a printout of a highly rated one from Home Depot.  They said "Those leak".  I said "Do what's best" and they replaced the old stem valve shutoffs with ball valve shutoffs.  This is much better than what I had, but I am disappointed that they are not automatic shutoff valves.  Once again, I told them I would do the drywall, and the valve replacement cost $340.
The whole job cost $1220, but I had purchased $200 of service for $79. from Angie's Big Deal, so I paid them $1020.
5) The last thing I didn't like, was that they said the reason my plumbing was corroded was because my water softener was not working.  They said the resins only last about 3 years.  I have a PhD in chemistry and neither of these statements seemed right to me.  They wanted to install a new softener for something like $1600 ( I don't remember the price, but it was high), so we declined.  I checked Lowes and their most expensive softener is about $500, but there are fancier systems you can get with filtration that are much more expensive.  I have no idea what system they were proposing to install.  I checked the internet and they said resins typically last 15 years.  I installed our old softener, so the pipes were all in place, so very little needed to be done to swap out a new system.  I think I will replace it myself when the time comes.
The work they did was good, and I was happy that they could complete all the work in one afternoon.  I just would have liked more detailed information about what they were going to do before they did it, I would have liked the literature that came with the parts, and I did not appreciate the sales pitch for the water softener.

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Silver-plume, CO

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
