"Brothers Pavers upgraded our front porch from the old cement slab to pavers with a border, removed old flagstone walkway, raised the bed and installed new pavers with curved curb design, and put a drainage. Jose gave me several very useful suggestions and he was very open to my modifications to the original design. Communications with him and David were very easy and efficient. The work was done very well, including the cleanup. The porch and the walkway look amazing, the pavers design and the color match the house 100%. The price was very competitive. It was a great experience overall and I definitely consider Pavers Brothers for my other projects."

"I began working with XtraCare through the RiverSmart homes program, when I contacted them for a quote to refinish my NE DC rowhouse backyard with permeable pavers and replace an unstable retaining wall. Due to the cost of such a project, I did not hire XtraCare at the time. As a number of other reviewers mention, stonework is expensive, but you understand why when you see how hard the crews work and the scale and weight of the materials involved. After talking with a few other contractors to decide on a less expensive project scope (gravel instead of permeable pavers), I contracted XtraCare for an estimate - and to my surprise, they gave me the best price and a great design. XtraCare did an excellent job with the project - they used high quality materials, and the crew worked hard and had a good attention to detail throughout. They even got the job done despite COVID shutting down the regional economy towards the end of the project. I also appreciated how communicative and responsive XtraCare was throughout the process. We did have one hiccup when they switched my project manager and an important detail was missed, but they corrected the problem promptly and switched me back to my original manager (Cleber, who I recommend highly). The deck surpassed my expectations and was completely on budget. They remove the grass and plants and laid down permeable pavers Over my whole backyard. They explained the process clearly and took incredible care to design it with the herringbone pattern I asked for. The fence was built in a day and a 1 foot extension on the retaining wall was completed Well -with care to make sure it Matched the existing wall. "Dave of HL Design was very professional and a true EXPERT in his field. His quote was the best in terms of cost out of 7 quotes that I received. He quoted and used Nicolock oceanic blue PREMIUM pavers, cobble stone edges, full-nose raven coping, 2-8ft sitting stone wall with 4 LED lights and a transformer. He installed a River Stones in the existing planting bed. The quality of work was great and the patio turned out beautifully! His workers cleaned after themselves each time. I absolutely love my patio and the flower bed. Dave and his crew did a GREAT job. I highly recommend them!!!"

"Wonderful experience!! This is the second time we have used Maryland Decking and Kyle Funk as our salesperson; they came in on budget for our project and in the time frame that we needed. Kyle is great, but we had a couple questions regarding the placement during installation, so he showed up day of installation with shovel in hand. They want things to be as right as we did, which is refreshing. GREAT customer service! The project consisted of extended a patio that we had done by them a few years ago, you would never know that it wasn’t original, blends perfectly and the crew couldn’t have been better, they worked hard and when we asked a question they stopped to listen and then gave us the answer without being annoyed. Left the site neat and clean too. Hard to find good workers, with good customer service while staying in budget and on time with a great salesperson on top of it!
