"Fantastic! Ted listened to our design, brought samples, asked for details.... Will was gracious and very competent. The very best part, besides ending up with a great railing, was dealing with a team who was both great at what they do plus being customer oriented. We needed a grill/grate on the deck, and they even found a piece for me. They offered outstanding service that went above and beyond what was expected. Thank you, Holland! "I am not the type to sit at a computer and write my thoughts for others to see.  I have never written a review for a business before today, but I wanted to formally acknowledge the service I recently had done because it is worthy of that. <br /> I needed some tricky welding done on my steel gate post that had broken.  I called The Welding Shop and Bill, the owner, answered.  He was able to come out almost immediately and even on a Saturday.  He showed up promptly and did an outstanding job.  He has a wealth of experience and was very professional, pleasant and personable.  Even though my job was small, he took the time to make sure it was done right.  He made certain I was pleased with the work and he charged a very competitive rate (I personally expected to pay twice what he asked.  He even charged less than his original quote on the phone) I will use him any time I need welding work in the future.  I also highly recommend his company for any sort of welding work.  These are truly the types of business services people want to hear about for their needs.  He doesn't do any big time advertising, so this word-of-mouth referral is important to get out there. <br />"

"<p>Price was second lowest of my 4 bids, quality of final product is as good as expected. Process to get through the job was not very smooth. For someone who has time to be at home, and does not mind being "in the dark" about what is getting done when, the end result is great. This is a small company that would benefit from a project manager or customer liaison of some sort, to provide schedule and details that would help to plan for the job. I had little idea of what time workers would show up, when power might be on or off, when they might be done, which days they were going to work, etc. Each person that I asked questions to said something like "I don't know, that is not my job, ask so and so instead". Also, this company very much prefers cash or check....credit card usage was problematic, with a number of calls to sort things out(worked in the end). At first they declined to take my Amex card so I looked for another supplier but then they called me back to say they would take it so parameters were clear from the start.</p> <p>To be fair, I needed to get a 3rd party contractor into my older home after removal of old system and before install of new one to do some work in the space(level floor, patch wall, paint, etc) so Olympic needed to schedule around that and the Labor Day holidays. I am someone who likes to know what is going on at all times so I can plan work and personal matters accordingly but if you are fine with leaving it to the experts and getting a quality end product, Olympic should be a better fit for you. I am giving them a low score because the overall experience was not a good one for me, but again, if you have different expectations, this might be the best supplier for you.</p> <br />"

"Working with Jesse, Olivia and Erik at HH Gutter Service was a REALLY good experience. Olivia was extremely responsive in terms of answering questions and providing estimates. Jesse came out to do the site visit to help me determine what actually needed to be done. He was straightforward, very knowledgeable, and allayed my fears that I would need to replace gutters by saying that really all I needed was a repair. He also recommended adding flashing to keep water from dripping down behind the fascia. I immediately felt comfortable with Jesse. He took the time to listen to my concerns and to take a good look at the site. Erik came out to do the work. He was on time, quick and efficient, and readily answered my questions. The work was done well and, as it is now raining heavily outside, I can happily say that my gutters are performing very, very well. No leaks! These are friendly folk who know their business and I will not hesitate to use them again, if I ever need to, and readily recommend them to others who need gutter work done."
