"I needed our mortar repointed on our 15 year old brick home as some of the joints were crumbling or had holes. Constructo answered my request quickly and they were a pleasure to work with from the estimate to completion. They aim to please. It was a great experience and I will recommend them and use them again.. "

"Yes I have worked with Fernando several times on projects. He has always went above and beyond to make things right. Any time I have a question he is there with an answer. The most important thing to me is his communication he always responds back to my calls or answers. That gives me comfort every time I call him. When he says he is going to do get it done he is there and never has excuses. I would recommend him anytime to anyone. He is very professional."

"Craig and his crew did a great job. He took the time to get the quote done right and fix all the problems that needed to be taken care of, and then he worked with the insurance company and got the best settlement we could get. The roof was a difficult one to replace, but they got the work done all in a single day. They took what was going to be a stressful project and made it easy!"

"I highly recommend Wendland Masonry! Excellent, friendly service. They really care about their job performance and they went the extra mile to make sure I would be happy with my brick porch once they were finished repairing it. My porch is nearly 100 years old, and they brought it back to life. They took extra care to preserve the historical aspects of the porch. I’ve received many compliments on how well the porch looks now after the repair."

"The fence looks great. I have some dirt work to do to fill a gap from the ground to the panel. The salesman, Mark Cassel, worked much better with my male neighbor than with me. It took more than a month -after I paid the 50% deposit - to get on the actual schedule, and I had to call them twice about scheduling. They corrected their errors promptly. I would hire them again."

FAQs for brick and stone patios, walks, and steps installation projects in Skiatook, OK

When cleaning your flagstone patio, begin by gently hosing off loose dirt and debris. Use a mild solution of white vinegar and water or diluted dish soap to scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using abrasive tools, such as wire brushes, as they can damage the stone’s seal and finish. This careful approach effectively removes mold and grime while preserving the natural beauty of your patio.

Flagstone naturally offers a neutral palette that includes shades of grey, black, red, yellow, brown, and tan, and its inherent color cannot be altered. Choosing varieties like bluestone provides a subtle bluish tint that complements many exterior designs. These natural hues enhance curb appeal and create a refined, timeless look in your outdoor space, ensuring a sophisticated finish with minimal upkeep.

Flagstone for a patio must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches to reliably support furniture and foot traffic. Using stone that is two to three inches thick is recommended to ensure lasting durability. The increased thickness prevents cracking under load and enhances long-term performance. Investing in thicker flagstone provides superior stability and resistance to weather conditions, ensuring your outdoor space remains both safe and attractive.

You can paint a flagstone patio by using a high-quality, outdoor elastomeric latex paint designed for heavy foot traffic. Painting not only refreshes the patio’s appearance but also creates a waterproof barrier that protects the stone from damage. Regular reapplication every one to two years maintains its durability and visual appeal, ensuring your patio remains both stylish and well-protected.
