"It took me about 5-10 minutes talking to Joe to settle on American Central for our hail damage work. He was far more knowledgeable and professional than the other roofers who quoted the job, (one of which never even got on the roof to measure or inspect, but "guaranteed' he'd get insurance to cover the roof, a new fence, new patio furniture, & the kid's playhouse!). For starters, Joe was recommended by another gutter company, which was quoting the gutters separately. When your competition recommends you, that speaks volumes! Joe ended up getting both the roof & gutters included on the insurance claim & agreed to my request to use the gutter company that had quoted it, instead of his own crew.....even stayed late at the office to help us pick shingle & gutter colors one evening. He oversaw another separate contractor that he had fabricate some custom flashing to accommodate the pergola over the back patio. And, the majority of the roof was completed in 1 day. Just some minor finishing & cleanup on Day 2. And, when the insurance balked on some of his Supplement estimates, Joe was professional but forceful in defending his numbers & had the measurements & data to back up his claims. As a result, both of his Supplemental claims over the initial Settlement amount were covered by insurance. In hindsight, I wish I'd used American Central for the gutter installation as well, since they had to come back TWICE to fix mistakes & leaks. Since American Central was the POC for the overall insurance claim, he stayed on the gutter contractor, until everything was fixed properly, even though it wasn't his crew. We've had a lot of work done on our house the last couple yrs (stack-block retaining wall, concrete patio, pergola, pool deck, exterior paint) before this roof project, & I'd lost faith in Contractors in general, after all the problems we had with each one on every job. Joe & American Central single-handedly convinced me that good, competent Contractors still exist. I've recommended him twice already!"

"Dan came out to look at a small leak we thought was blowing in under the eave. Turns out the false barn door over our garage was a hole with a thin piece plywood to keep the weather out. Dan and his guys took the area apart, then repaired the hole and sided the area before painting. It would be hard to tell there was ever a different look to the house. The repair is perfect!"

"Roof was worn out and starting to leak in a couple of places with the massive rains we had been getting lately. Called a couple of places to get estimates and Green Phoenix beat them by a substantial amount. I also like the owners attitude and explanation of how and what they needed to do to fix the roof. A date and time was set and the crew showed up and started the year off. Materials arrived and part of crew did tear off and repair of bad spots in roof while other part of crew started putting down new roofing By the way I used class 4 roofing so it probably won’t need to be fixed in the years I have left. Crew took well deserved lunch break then were back at work. The continued till dusk with tear off. Putting Dow new roof and clean up. Left for the day with a large part completed. Second day arrived on time and continued with repair and replacement. During the tear off they found some major problems which needed to be addressed. They talked with me. Gave me options and let me decide what to do. It upped the cost of the job a little but it did need to be done. Finished with house and detached garage did cleanup. Which was.very good and left. I am quite happy with they way they cleaned up and very happy with the job they did.""

I learned of this company by their "signature red" company trucks which I saw frequently in my neighborhood. I contacted the company and they were very prompt to respond. <br /> <br />My first contact was with the Sales Representative James Bliss. James evaluated my existing roof and guttering system, then drew up some estimates of different options that were available. He was informative, patient(because I asked many questions), and thorough. He explained the different roofing systems available, their costs, and the differences between them. He also provided information on optional upgrades.  <br /> <br />James was not a high-pressure salesman; he did not try to get me to sign a contract right then. I had the freedom to compare his bid with the others. I also was very impressed by the way he worked with my insurance company to make sure no stone was left unturned. He took a straight-forward approach; if he felt that something didn't need replacing; he told me. This was very important to me. It should also be noted that Red River Roofing Inc.DOES NOT require 50% down prior to starting the job. One estimate I obtained required this! Red River Roofing requires no money down to start the job. This was a major deciding factor. <br /> <br />After reviewing the options, competing bids, and prices, I chose Red River Roofing Inc. because it gave me the best over-all value, and quality for the cost. <br /> <br />Immediately I was contacted by the Project Manager Andrew Holbrook, who had been assigned my roofing job. He set up a time to come and do a pre-inspection prior to starting the job. He was thorough, answered my questions and concerns, and also took the time to make sure my neighbors were informed of his impending work. <br /> <br />The job was started promptly on 10/03/16 at 7:00am. Materials arrived on schedule. Andrew kept me informed of any possible delays, and changes. The roof was completed on 10/04/16 late that afternoon, and the roofing crew accomplished a thorough clean-up. I also noted that there was very little excess materials left; telling me that they gauge their materials accurately. It should be noted that James Bliss also followed up at the job sight to make sure all was running smoothly. The guttering system was scheduled and completed on 10/07/16. The delay was due to weather. The guttering crew was courteous, on-time, and attentive to the details. If there were any questions, they called me promptly.  <br /> <br />I am very pleased with the price, quality of work, efficiency, professionalism, and customer service. "I had a great experience with Apex roofing. I had them inspect my roof the day after a big thunderstorm came through and I can’t say enough how refreshing it is to work with someone who shows up when they say they would. Luckily I did not have any roof damage this time. They walked me through the process of the inspection and I really appreciated the honest and open communication and I was not out a dime for the inspection. Next time I am worried about my roof, I will definitely call on Apex again. I would definitely recommend Apex to anyone looking for a roofing service with integrity."

"The repair went great! Scot came out several times to meet with me and the adjuster. He was very knowledgeable and didn't just try to sell me a roof. A lot of the companies on Angie's List exaggerated about the damages and recommended a new roof. Scot was honest and made sure that the work was done correctly. He even came out a few times to make sure that everything was done to his satisfaction. I highly recommend this place."

"First, Mr. Nate Boomer, the project manager with AVCO Roofing, sat down with my wife and I and went through all the gritty details of roof replacement. He spoke from experience and educated us about the process and how he would deal directly with the insurance company on our behalf for any additional items that could come up once the shingles were removed. He was very professional and down to earth and really made us feel secure with our decision to use AVCO Roofing. <br> <br>The men began mid day Friday by removing the old shingles and turbine vents. They filled in the old vent holes with decking and added a ridge vent all along the top of our roof. AVCO replaced all of our lavatory vent covers, which had served as a squirrel buffet for some time, and removed an old satellite dish that was not being used. Afterward they began installing synthetic underlayment and adding the new shingles. Along the way they installed new flashing around the fireplace, an area that had previously been leaking. <br> <br>Saturday morning, the men from AVCO came back out and finished up the little work they had left to do. I went out mid day Saturday to check out the job they had done and was utterly surprised by how clean they had left my house. Had I not been there to see it myself, it would have been difficult to tell that anyone had been there because it was so clean. <br> <br>As I walked around my house, Nate drove up to double check the finished product and look for any loose nails in the grass and driveway. It's nice to see a company and their employees that are dedicated to providing a high quality product and unwilling to cut corners to save costs. As important as a roof is to any house, it's important to me that it's done correctly. <br> <br>Based on this experience, should I have need for roofing in the future, AVCO Roofing is the only company I'll be calling. <br>"

"Extremely pleased with this company. My roof looks great. They did a great job. They cleaned after themselves. The manager went to the roof, he wasn't please with what he saw and he called the crew again and fixed the problem. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone."
