They were there every day on time and when they were done for the day they cleaned up. "These guys are amazing!! The crew that came to do the work at my house were punctual, knowledgeable and efficient. I hired Neel Outdoor Works to install a brick wall and platform for a wood burner and my experience couldn’t have been better. The timelines for material drop off and execution were not only upheld, but were also communicated clearly which has been hard to find dealing with contractors. When the crew arrived to do the work they were able to explain everything that was happening, how long it would take, and precautions to take while the components cured. They finished ahead of schedule and cleaned up so well that it didn’t look like anyone had been there. These guys are absolute professionals in all aspects and I will recommend them to anyone that needs work done."

"He met with me on May 23, 2015 when he made a bid on the job.  I accepted the bid and he came within a week to spray and use round up to kill the "back yard".  Then the rains came as he originally planned to do the actual leveling, reseeding, etc. within the next three weeks.  He did get back to my husband and I periodically and explained to our satisfaction why the planting was going to be delayed.  He contacted me on July 21 and reconfirmed the plans with me.  He said he would come at 7 AM on July 23 to do the actual job.  He was there and did everything he said he would do in a very efficient manner.  He contacted me about 12:30 PM on July 23 and explained how the watering of the property would have to be done daily.  When I ask him to go over how it was to be done with sprinklers, etc., he said he would train our son who lives in the house, how to do it.  He completed the job in an excellent manner and did train our son on how to do the moving of the hoses and sprinklers to our son's satisfaction! <br />"

"My family and I built a house and needed some work done to the landscaping, removal of dirt (tons!), and the driveway. Jeremy was very prompt with scheduling and fitting us in, his communication was great, and got the work done before we got rain and would need to delay. I personally, highly recommend CRS Contracting for any of your needs!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Slippery Rock, PA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
