"Ince my install date was confirmed, I was told that the crew would be out between 9-10a on Monday 6/1. Promptly at 9am Ramon and Giovanni arrived and began getting set up. I was introduced to both of them and brought them down to where the control box was going to be installed. From there, they were off to work. They were super efficient, super professional and very neat. Anything they touched or moved, they put back. They were done within a few hours and gave me a quick tutorial on the controller before going out and checking the system and the directions of the sprinkler heads one last time. I was beyond impressed and very happy I made the decision to use YardWorks. "

"Walkway retaining wall veneer with new stairs. 22,000 cost. Update from my September 2025 review. After posting my experience online review about my dissatisfaction with the work and job not being completed. We both agreed to stop the work (after one year)and Rich to send me a total of 5,000 for broken stone stairs and incomplete work. A check was sent by Rich for the additional 2,500 after my first review was posted online in September this year. Funny how that works. I also noticed that another customer had hired Rich to performed some work. Then like me Rich hired another mason to perform the work without ever finishing the job. Just like the other review Rich said he fired that person. Same story Rich told me. See a patten here, that odd or a common practice? Gave one additional star to my first review due to Rich Peavey sending the second check for 2,500."

"After 2 1/2 years of not being able to secure a contractor willing to excavate or property we found Joe who told us, "No problem when do you want to start?" After receiving Joes quote we asked if he could build us a wall also. Joe stuck with us even after we were satisfied with the excavation. He encouraged to order gravel late on a Friday to finish up the site."

"We hired King’s Pavers and Masonry to install a paver walkway along the side of our house less than a year ago. Unfortunately, the pavers were sloped incorrectly, causing water to pool against the house, and the walkway is already collapsing due to poor workmanship. The pathway itself is uneven—making it difficult to roll a grill or anything else over it—and the overall shape of the walkway is noticeably crooked. While the work is under warranty, the company has refused to respond to repeated attempts to contact them, including certified mail."

His crew flawlessly re-pointed our foundation in several spots, built a new border around our front garden, and laid in a paved walkway. The results were stunning. "Replacing a roof is not cheap - and it’s not exactly the most fun thing to throw a lot of money at (versus, say, a new bathroom) . AEM (Kevin B. in particular) made this not only painless, but even pleasant. We got three bids - Kevin B. from AEM was the only one that bothered to actually visit our house, meet with us and explain the process. The other bids were just emailed in, apparently using some imaging system that let them measure our rooftop. AEMs bid was not the cheapest of the three, but it was absolutely competitive with the other two - and, because of Kevin’s walking us through the process, we felt much more comfortable having them do the project. Communication as we were getting closer to the day was very good (I work at home - so I knew I’d have to take the day off given the noise). There were a few unavoidable weather delays - Kevin always kept me informed. On the actual day, the team was here early - as was Kevin - and the whole process was done in a day. Something really cool - they had to get into our yard through our neighbor’s back yard (with his permission, of course!) - as a gesture, they raked his leaves! They also cleaned our gutters while they were up there doing the roof. After the fact, the cleanup was perfect - our back yard was spotless! Kevin and his colleague also did some great work repairing our soffits. Anyhow - I don’t think we can recommend AEM highly enough - they care for their customers - and made this as painless as possible. We are very happy with the results. Thanks Kevin and team!"
