"The other day the cold water kept running into my washing machine and would not stop other than turning it off at the wall. I did a quick internet search and found that 80% of the time that this happens it is the Water Inlet Valve that needs replacing. I called another A rated local service describing this and asking if they could bring a valve when they came. The response was that they needed to come to do a diagnostic, then would order the valve and then would come back a second time to do the actual repair. This made no sense other than feeling that they were just trying to build up the bill. I then called Jose from JM and described the condition. Before I could suggest ordering the part and making one trip he suggested that we do exactly that. He kept me up to date with regular texts about the status of the order and his expected arrival time.
