"Jay and his team were great. He provided a very competitive quote, was reasonable in the work required to fix water damaged floors (including opening wall, replacing outside window sill that was cause of the damage, replacing damaged hardwood floors) and doing so quickly. My only feedback would be a bit more heads up when his guys would be coming by to do the work — it was sometimes hard to predict the exact timing. That being said, we were home 24/7 during the pandemic and we never specified specific time that we needed so it wasn’t a very big issue. We look forward to working with him and Green Star again"

"No doubt they hire great installation people, but their communication and honoring their quotes has little to be desired. I will elaborate. I was given a quote, left on my voicemail. I responded the next day letting NRG know I accepted their quote. 1 week later I received a phone call telling me they wouldn't honor the quote give, and they cited the reasons as Tarif's. This was back in April 2025. I still went with NRG, albeit at a$1000.00 increase. The second reason I wouldn't recommend this company, and this for me is the final straw, after installing my solar NRG didn't let me know I needed to have an ESR release, in layman's terms this is necessary for your power company to accept your new solar system. I found out this information when they contacted me in August 2025. NEG blamed the company who upgraded my Electrical Panel. NRG INSTALLED MY SOLAR AFTER THE PANEL WAS UPGRADED. Since this company doesn't communicate with its clients I would say go with another company."

"They don't deserve any star. They are terrible! I hired Eastman Roofing Aug 2020 to repair my roof and paid over $5K for the service. We finally received rain, and the roof does hold up to the repair cost. Additionally, Jim Eastman, the worst business owner ever, does not stand his team's work and refuses to send a repairman to check out what is causing the water damage. They set an appointment and canceled the same day. The owner Jim Eastman actually hung the phone up in my face twice when I called to schedule a service visit from the rain damages visible inside my home. This company is terrible, not honorable does horrible work, and does not even listen to customer feedback. When you call to speak with them, they hang the phone in your face. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER INTERFACE! Please do not spend money with companies that do not stand by the service rendered."
