After one year, we reported some cracking, sent pictures as requested and was told it was normal settling. Year 2, cracks were more pronounced, we sent pictures as requested, and were told someone would come our to look at it. We were ghosted several times, didn't receive return phone calls - it was very frustrating. Couldn't get past customer service to speak to anyone. No owner, no manager, no project manager. Long story short, they refused to "do business with us anymore" and wouldn't stand by their work. Pictures attached of year 3 - don't work with this company."

J&S did a great job of understanding what we wanted and gave us a fair quote. The demo crew did a great job ripping the old one out, backfilling with new gravel base, and compacting with no damage to existing lawn or concrete. The asphalt crew did a great job laying the asphalt, hand tamping edges, and compacting. Both crews were super friendly, explained everything they were doing, and cleaned up nicely. Parking lot striping machine rentals cost $20 to $250 per day, depending on the model you rent. Simple residential models cost $20 to $30 per day, with professional models running $100 and up. In general, rentals average $125 per day, purchasing a simple machine costs between $150 and $1,500, and purchasing a professional-grade machine costs anywhere from $4,000 to $20,000.
Striping stencils are cutouts that make it easy to paint numbers and letters. You might need stencils to number parking stalls in an apartment garage, paint the words ‘No Parking’ in a fire zone, or label VIP stalls for your company’s CEO and other executives.
Lot painting companies use a variety of equipment based on the needs of the project. You’ll likely see them using a professional line painting machine (which usually costs between $4,000 and $10,000), stencils for painting words, numbers, and symbols, and special paint designed for parking lot striping.
It will likely take a full day to stripe most parking lots and up to two days for new lots. Contractors need between several hours and a full day to assess, plan, and paint your lot if they’re simply going over the existing lines.
