"We bought a "fixer upper" in Troy in the summer of 2018 and the entire HVAC system was 20+ years old. After doing a lot of research I decided I wanted an American Standard Furnace and AC system because consumer reports rated them as the most reliable brand. Tony was one of the few contractors that offered American Standard Products. I took bids from 5 different contractors for the furnace and hot water heater. Tony came out himself to look around and give the initial bid. He was very personable and was happy to answer all my questions. And I will tell you honestly I had a lot of questions. I meticulously researched Furnaces and Hot water heaters before I was ready to drop thousands of dollars. Tony emailed me back and forth 3 or 4 times answering questions before I finally awarded Custom Temperature Control the contract. Installation of the furnace and hot water heater was mostly problem free. I do give honest reviews so I will say there was one issue. When I brought this up to Tony, he came out himself the next morning to rectify it. 6 months later summer was approaching and it was time for a new AC system. Once again I did a lot research and took bids for several contractors. Once again Tony came out for more than an hour and went over my questions with me. Once gain he followed that with about 3 or 4 email exchanges providing answers to my detailed questions. And once again he was the lowest bid… by far. For an identical set of AC coils and compressor his bid was between $400 and $1,000 less than the other contractors. The other contractors had quality reviews on Angie’s list as well, but not as many total reviews as Tony. He also included a new a line, something the other contractors wanted to charge me additional money for (or use the old line which I read was not a safe bet). Installation of the AC system went smoothly. It’s clear to me Tony beats out his competitors on price, customer service, and customer satisfaction. One other thing that I like about Tony is that he offers multiple HVAC brands. Most places only offer 1 brand. Tony offers as many as 5 if I recall correctly. To me this says he puts the customer first because he is willing to offer a variety of choices instead of pushing one brand. I would recommend Custom Temperature Control to all my friends and family."

G/project manager was very accomodating as to providing a few special requests during job. We had a new skylight window applied also. They had to remove old shingles before applying new roof and was done quickly and professionally. We also had gutter guards put on our barn, comes with 20 year guarantee, cant beat that! Give them 5 STARS!"

"Excellent work, as they completed the roof earlier than originally scheduled. More important, all parts of the roof replacement were discussed as options on the quote, as I expected some roof boards would need replacement for example. The cost per board was quoted, the choices of shingles were discussed, and Dominic was knowledgeable and friendly guiding me through the roof replacement process. Their website is also an excellent tool to understand roof replacement and choices, and see samples of their work. I knew someone who had contracted with Roof Advance a few years back who had excellent results, paid a fair price, and overall great experience with this firm. I found the same professional service all around, as the communication was detailed in emails, on the quote, and in-person, and they even have pics of your job in-progress posted on a website for you to see. My husband used to do roofing, and is very picky, so when he inspected the work - he was satisfied in the professional job especially around the chimney and other trouble spots where leaks can occur later. Clean-up was absolutely immaculate, and the entire job was completed in one day. I would hire Roof Advance again, as pricing was slightly below other quotes but the quality of the work was very much an A+!"

"In two words, amazing job! Out of the gate Weatherguard impressed with Jimmy, who didn't try and up-sell us on useless tech and inappropriate roofing materials. We were given a very fair price for the amount of work that had to be done, and were even slotted in earlier than expected (which was a very nice surprise). Their crew showed up on time and were very professional. They didn't spend any time goofing around, and not once did I hear the crew swearing or cursing, which is to their credit. "Workers came and left without speaking to us or confirming permission to go into back yard. Wrongly installed gutters and had to come back twice to redo errors. Work began coming apart after 30 days. Plus, they installed completely different colored shingles. At least their office people are nice, but the work quality was horrible and workers unimpressive."

"They're great! Friendly, timely, thorough, detail-oriented, responsive and humble. Even when the second raccoon nest fell out of the soffit, there was no swearing, just a howl. The house looks fantastic, and they didn't leave a mark on it. They went the extra mile to get the details just right even though it took them longer to achieve.
