"Mark and Nicole at BBA surveying did a great job for my final short plat map. They kept me posted on the progress, and responded quickly to my requests. The short plat plan set is professional. I'd recommand their service!"

"Ford Land Surveying was easy to work with. They gave me a rough estimate over the phone and were available the following week. The other company I contacted was about the same price, but booked 5 weeks out. Darren got the work done while I was away from the house and left the corners clearly marked with rebar and wooden stakes. I received the drawing in the mail a few days later, and Darren was readily available to answer my questions."

"I bought a parcel of land adjacent to one I already owned. CSI had surveyed the original parcel in 1996 so I had them survey my new parcel. I had a problem with a property line brushing one of my homes and CSI prepared a boundary line adjustment to correct this problem. The established all of the points on my property I needed in a businesslike and prompt manner."

"I contacted several of the surveyors listed on Angie's List for my area. All came back with bids at around $2,800 with the exception of one, who came back at $1,900. But like most of the other surveyors I contacted, he was booked out several weeks. I asked one of the surveyors if he knew of anyone else I could try who might be available sooner and he recommended Linda Schroeter. Linda was available the next week. Her bid originally came back at around $2,800, and I asked her if she could meet the $1,900 bid and she said yes.
They were out the next week to do the work. The complexities of our yard required them to do two days of field work. I had the drawings at the end of that week. There was one small error on the drawings, which I pointed out to them (they had forgotten to indicate where a set of stairs wrapped around the house and indicated a slope there instead). They were out two days later and I had the new drawings a few days after that.
I would highly recommend them.
"

"Our front yard was in bad shape -- sloping toward the street, mostly moss with sparse grass, surrounded by a rock wall and uneven concrete steps leading from the front of the house to the street level. We contracted with Ms. Russell for landscape design services -- to design a more modern and welcoming front to our home/yard. She came out and measured and photographed the area and spoke with us at length. We had little idea of what we wanted. A previous contractor had suggested a series of terraced levels, but the cost was prohibitive and access to street level would have been limited to only our steps or driveway. Ms. Russell made some initial suggestions during our walkthrough and then emailed and visited several more times before coming up with a preliminary plan. Once we came to agreement on the overall plan, she provided us with suggested lists of plantings and between us we came up with a list of those that would work for our yard. The final formal landscape drawing -- provided in both hard copy as well as electronic copy -- reconfigured and updated our yard, reused large rocks from our old rock wall as focal points within the planting areas, and served as an excellent document for obtaining bids from contractors. Ms. Russell was attentive to our needs, provided clearly expert advice, and the final product was a professionally produced landscape drawing showing elevations, measurements, features, and plantings.
In addition to the contracted work, Ms. Russell made a suggestion about our old concrete block retaining wall in our back yard that we used when we replaced our concrete patio with pavers. Based on her suggestion, we were able to save the cost of replacing the retaining wall and still have a clean, modern look to our patio.
One last comment: We've lived in our home for 33 years, and thought mowing our lawn and having the standard rectangular planting area along the front of the house was ok. Ever since we had our yard re-landscaped according to Ms. Russell's plan we have been proud of our yard and happy to see it when driving up the street.
"
