He charged us a nominal fee for the house call, so nominal that I felt he undercharged us, so I sent him off with a piece of homemade pie. So glad we found him. "I signed the contract 10/23/19 with an expected pick up date by the end of the month. Heard on 10/30 that the transport had broken down and needed repairs. Talked to contact on 10/31 and reviewed alternative arrangements. Second transport option bailed out due to an emergency. Third option discussed. 11/05. I followed up and was told a driver was on the way. Pickup occurred 11/7 and delivery was 11/12. I paid extra for door to door service, but the transport could not navigate the residential streets, so pickup was in a mall parking lot. For the money paid, things could have gone more smoothly. Communication was okay, but given the starts and stops more wold have been better."

"Totally recommended. Really responsive both to initial quote request and subsequent questions, efficient on site, punctual and friendly! Existing door spring failed and I needed the door fixed as soon as possible. I chose to get a new opener knowing I needed them out to do the repair anyway (the old one was many years old). They ran through the options for that by mail, arrived on time, looked at the setup, ran me through why they would not have done it that way and recommended a change to the design because of the door weight, to prevent a similar failure in the future. I agreed and they had it all done in 2 hours when i was expecting 3 - they had everything with them they needed even though the design changed. Unexpected repair costs are never fun but I felt like I got value for money: apart from quickly getting it working again, the new system is far quieter, I can open/close from anywhere if needed, and it should last many years. Very pleased and appreciative of the service from Freedom."
