Once we needed trim and molding work, we went to Angiâ s list and came up with 3 potential contractors. We chose Wolcott Construction as Ramey understood what we were wanting to accomplish and provided his input; which helped us attain our goal. Ramey is very detail oriented when it came to re-hanging our doors and framing in our two windows. We were especially impressed with the two custom thresholds he built to transition from the original to the new floor levels; which were about an 1-1/2 difference. The two other contractors had no idea how to make these transition thresholds. We would recommend Wolcott Construction for any project you may have. Ramey will be up front with you as to whether he can do it or not. In addition, he will ask you if this is what you had in mind before it becomes permanent. At the end of the day, we had a lot of work that needed to be done and he came through with flying colors. Ramey went above and beyond anything we had expected, and he cleans up after himself every day! He arrives when he says he will. He keeps you informed on progress daily and with what he will be doing the next day. We are thankful for finding Ramey!"

My house is far from perfect, but it felt like his first visit was more of a home inspection than an estimate to install doors. I appreciate him making me aware of these issues, but it came across like he wanted more business by addressing the repairs he outlined. Gary ran into problems with the two doors, but he was able to make it work given the situation. The price was very expensive for the work that was done.
