"Decent, professional, polite work at exorbitant prices. They use a task-based method, not a flat hourly or daily rate. They quoted $8,000 for one handyman (changing several door handles and door hinges, installing a ceiling light and switch, shaving the top of a door, partial grouting of two showers, relocating a small kitchen wall cabinet to a different wall, minor painting, sealing an outdoor light, etc.) using mostly my materials (hinges, switches, light, door handles). Only after work started was I informed that they scheduled 4 days at my home ($2,000 per day). They deemed it unnecessary to whare this info in advance because they are task-based, even though they somehow estimated it would take 4 full days. Also, of the 4 scheduled days, 2 reschedules occurred due to their personnel issues. On the last day, I intended to go through the checklist of work, discuss possible future work, and to ask for assistance in properly measuring 2 doors for replacement. However, the handyman arrived late, and noted that he was in a rush to depart for a medical appointment."

The project included wiring and ductwork to the exterior as well as drywall removal and repair, and then finishing everything beautifully. The two-man team of Vasquez did as instructed and also fixed some old shoddy work that was in the way of the new duct and wiring. They used good materials and did good work at a good price. He removed old pain pieces on frame, cut the screen he bought in half and screwed them to the bottom of each door. He then spray painted the doors white. The doors needed more paint, so he went to Home Depot again and bought additional cans of paint (12 in total). I got sick from the paint smell, so my sister took over. When he finished she paid him. When I was able to inspect the job, I saw a hole in one doors screen and long screws sticking out 3/4" on both screens.
