"Eric and his team at Absolute Electric installed some can lights and a couple ceiling fans in a high ceiling. They were prompt, curious and fairly priced for the work they completed as scheduled. They were helpful with planning and suggestions about the project along the way to make sure we ended up with the design and results we wanted. I would work with Eric and his team again if needed. "Mr Wade Sharp was quick to respond with information and a fair quote. He arrived ahead of the prescribed time and finished ahead of schedule. I appreciate his ability to communicate clearly the details of the project ( I had a lot of questions). The charger is working great and I would definitely hire Sharp Electric again for future projects."

"Words can't describe how thankful we are. January 24th hours before the snow storm hit we had electrical problems no electricity. They were here immediately. They located the problem and worked 2 days outside in the snow storm. They cared about our safety. They were knowledgeable, very thorough and clean. We recommend them highly! They have our business. GOD BLESS THEM!!"

"Bought a new home that has a Hot Springs tub. I've never owned an outdoor hot tub, so needed Joe to help clean and service the tub and teach me how to maintain the tub on my own. He was very responsive as we coordinated a day and time, and he was more than happy to share details about the tub and how to care for it. He gave me tips on what I should and should not be concerned with and then the step by step on chemicals and maintaining proper PH, etc. I never questioned his knowledge. He was thorough and very helpful and had a nice laid back approach.Apparently he spent many years working for Hot Springs and has been caring for customers for many many years as a service person. I'll continue to use and recommend Joe.

"Innovative Garages did an AMAZING job on my garage floor! This included all floor preparation with an industrial diamond concrete grinder, repaired a damaged floor drain area and a large crack across my entire floor. The entire project took less than 2 full days. They also gave me the use of a storage trailer to store all my stuff while they did the work on the floor and even let me keep the trailer another five days while I had my garage walls and ceilings painted. I strongly recommend Innovative Garages if you're considering having your concrete garage floor repaired and looking beautiful. They were also less than half the price of another major company I was considering."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Stanford, IN

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
