"I couldn’t be more pleased with the exceptional work Douglas and his team did on my landscaping project. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless. Douglas was incredibly communicative throughout the entire process, always keeping me informed and addressing any questions I had. His punctuality and professionalism were unmatched, and he made sure everything was completed to perfection. The attention to detail his team showed while installing the pavers, retaining wall, and turf was truly second to none. The finished product exceeded all of my expectations, and I’m absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out. If you’re looking for quality craftsmanship and an outstanding customer experience, I highly recommend this On Deck!"

"Pavers placed on large backyard patio and under porte cochere and sealed them. Beautiful •Constucted 2 stone retaining walls, each one 150’ long-excellent! •Installed 125’ of wrought iron with 3 gates-sturdy & beautiful. •Planted 10 large trees, 20 smaller evergreens and staked them, planted 50 shrubs and plants , all on an irrigation system that he installed. Added different decorative rock on planters and the retaining walls and added several boulders on the property. The design was beautiful. •He designed much of the work with our input. •Installed 2 transformers for my low voltage outdoor lighting. Yes, the work was for a newly constructed home. I found Douglas on the internet after the well known landscaper in Carson City never ever returned my calls. Didn’t know it then, but that was a blessing that he didn’t. And his prices are very fair. "Porters is a great company to deal with, They had to confront delays that came up due to our house having various issues that were exposed when the concrete was removed and they dealt professionally with all the problems they encountered. . We did not have to hire a landscape designer as they had wonderful suggestions for the design of the patio and walkway. Bill, Chris, Jerry and Jaime were all great guys to deal with. i didn't catch the other names but all the workers were all super people to have around and cleaned up beautifully after the project was finished. I would highly recommend them and hire them again."

"Rock Solid Landscape did an absolutely phenomenal job for me. I could not be happier. I completely landscaped the backyard of my new-construction home and redid the original front yard landscaping which was installed by the builder. Rock Solid Landscape took my landscaping plan and made it reality to an extremely high degree of excellence. Jeff Steckline is the owner of Rock Solid Landscape. You will not find a more affable, accommodating and customer service-oriented contractor. Period. Finding someone like Jeff in the construction and landscaping business can be very challenging. His dedication to every aspect of the job and to the customer's satisfaction are unparalleled. Jeff "owns" the work he does and he is an extremely knowledgeable contractor who is also very loyal to and protective of his employees. Rock Solid Landscape is the quintessential landscaping and hardscaping business. Jeff's crew, Juan-Carlos and Poncho, are the artisans who executed my plan. They seemed to have a 6th sense about what I was trying to create and completely understood my very detailed HOA-approved landscaping proposal. Their work is amazing. These individuals are the hardest working people I have ever met in my life. They worked non-stop, six days a week, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM every day for twenty-eight straight days in summer heat and they did it with a smile. Their dedication, efficiency, customer service and work ethic are simply unparalleled. They are very experienced individuals who have been in this business a long time and it shows. I am truly blessed by their efforts. Wonderful people. I discovered a surprisingly derogatory Angie's List review for Rock Solid Landscape which is completely inconsistent with my personal experience. Strangely, that review was written five years after the work was performed so I questioned the legitimacy and veracity of its content and I am very glad I did that."

"The 2 crews that worked, were very professional, courteous and very hard workers. Thoroughly satisfied with the quality of work they performed. Bart-Architect, was "right-on" with the design and very open for changes. Shane-Hardscape Foreman, was awesome. His crew were very hard workers and very precise. Our paver walkway is PERFECT! Nick -landscaper foreman, was very knowledgeable & had a great personality. His crew were a "well oiled" team. They all had great sense of humors and very hard workers. Loved working with everyone..."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Stateline, NV

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
