"Several years ago my husband and I discovered Progress through Angie's List. Ivan and Roman completed several jobs within our home (custom shelving, TV mounting, drywall ,painting etc...). Recently we were interested in remodeling the exterior wall of our home to include a brick surface. We consulted several professional bricklayers and masonry experts to perform the work. We experienced unrealistic estimates, no collaboration for design ideas and unreliable references. We remembered Progress and our great experience with him in the past and contacted them. Honestly, we were not very hopeful that they would be able to do the work as I always consider brickwork to be specialized. Within an hour of reaching out to Roman and Ivan, they responded with photos of Brick work they had recently completed. I was out of town due to an illness in the family while Marvin and his crew completed installation of the new roof. Marvin refused to accept payment for the job from my wife. Marvin wanted my inspection and approval first! In addition,Marvin promptly and personally responded to every call. I have used Marvin and Alexander Home Improvement in the past and have recommended them to my friends. Alexander Home Improvement installed a new roof and insulated and sided the whole house. "Overall, an excellent experience. I called the phone number listed on Angies List, & the boss himself, Ryan, answered . [In fact, every time I called, Ryan answered the phone himself.] He came to give me an estimate, recommended the same thing several other roofers recommended, & gave me a reasonable price. We came to an agreement, & one morning the following week he arrived bright & early with his crew, started & finished the entire job in one day, & cleaned up nicely. Ryan may not be as polished as some other salesman, but if you just want your roof fixed quickly, neatly, efficiently & with a minimum of hassles, he's your man. My only reservation is that he did not respond to email, or messages left through Angies List - he subsequently told me that the best way to reach him is directly by phone."

"Lou arrived 15 minutes early and had already inspected the outside of the house. He didn't hesitate climbing upon the ladder to inspect the roof and chimney. Lou explained everything that he was doing and suggested ways to correct the problems. He conducted a thorough inspection of the house and gave me a written report with pictures.
