"While he and a teen did remove the roots of 5 shrubs that my husband had already clipped down, the parts that had grown under the siding were not removed. The ground was mostly leveled back out, but not evenly and it was not cleaned up as promised as much litter and debris remained in the dirt not making it ready for replanting as promised. No soil was added where roots were removed which I fear will cause sinks later on. For some reason, he did not come with a backhoe and only used a shovel, ax, and his vehicle to pull stumps. Some of the roots he dragged too far out into the yard left debris and drag marks in other areas. I see he has reviews saying he is professional, but while he had a kind demeanor, he did not deliver for us the full promised package. When I texted about my concerns he just never responded. I wish I could send photos."

FAQs for vinyl or pvc fence repair projects in Statesboro, GA

Repairing or replacing a part of your fence is almost always less expensive than replacing it altogether. If your fence is in major disrepair or requires more than 20% to 30% replacement, it may be a better investment to replace your entire fence. Contact at least three fence repair specialists near you to get quotes for both a repair and replacement project.

All vinyl fences are made of PVC, a type of vinyl that stands for polyvinyl chloride. But not all PVC is the same. PVC resin is combined with other ingredients, giving it strength and weather-resistance. High-quality PVC vinyl fences include additives that provide more durability—and therefore cost more. Check out various types of vinyl fences and their features before deciding on your material.

You can repair small cracks or holes in your vinyl fence easily using a vinyl repair kit. If the crack is especially large or seems to be impacting the fence's integrity, you may need to replace the whole rail or post. However, you should hire a local fence installer for major repairs.

With proper maintenance and care, a vinyl fence can last up to 30 years. To ensure the longest life possible for your vinyl fence, ensure that it is installed properly and take care to check it regularly for any areas that may need minor maintenance or repair.
