He went into the attic to look over potential problems, and sent us the pictures he took on the roof itself so we could see and discuss what needed to be done. He took his time and patiently answered all our questions. The quote was thorough and detailed, plus it included a cash only discount. "Every home owner eventually needs (or will need) a new roof. Expense is one of the driving factors that usually determines the vendor BUT a more economical long range decision should be made based on quality. Quality of product, installation and service are essential components of this decision. This is why we chose to go with Power for our new roof and gutters. EVERY interaction with each employee was customer-centric. They patiently listened to our requirements and concerns and then offered effective solutions during and throughout the entire process. (The warranty was also the best available.) Power is a large company with multiple locations across the country, ours was headquartered in Maryland but the work was completed in Virginia. This geographic distance did not adversely effect the outcome. From the initial salesperson (who took the gutsy risk of letting me visit and talk with two neighborhood customers while he waited outside before signing our contract) through the schedulers, work execution and Quality Control final inspection we were well pleased. The work started on time and was completed on time. Numerous personal phone calls and visits by the Power inspectors provided us with the comforting conclusion that we made the correct choice for a truly professional contractor. With our 50 year labor and product warranty I doubt we will need to redo our roof in our lifetime BUT if we move we would definitely chose Power again! Check the Better Business Bureau reviews and complaints and you will easily see that Power is a responsive and reasonable company to work with. Need a new roof? Power is your answer."

"Excellent. My neighbor had used Troy Fitch (Cornerstone) for his roof and HIGHLY recommended him. I contracted with him to replace my roof, clean the gutters (and make some small repairs), power wash my house and refinish my deck. EVERYTHING was done extremely well and in a prompt time frame. His employees were great, and the communication between the owner (Troy) and the homeowner (me!) went very well.

I was definitely impressed with their professionalism and quality, and their prices were very competitive (not the lowest, but competitive - WELL worth it!) I would DEFINITELY hire them again (and will, to powerwash my house every year and restain the deck every few years).

"Originally, we were scheduled to have our roof inspected on January 10, but due to an ice storm it was not actually inspected until January 24. The owner came out finding that the roof was in pretty good shape. However, some of the roof caps on the various ridge lines needed to be replaced. He also found that the sealant around the pipes coming through the roof had cracked and could be letting in water from either rain or snow. The Technician came out the next day and repaired everything. He also cleaned out the gutters which were long overdue to be cleaned."
