"It was okay. I wasn't able to confirm that he actually did the work because he showed up when I wasn't home. He never actually called to make the appointment. He did it when I wasn't home. There was no way for me to tell whether he put everything on the lawn the way he was supposed to. I couldn't inspect the work."

"Miguel Amaya is not only an honest, fair and hard working person but he has integrity that is truly rare (and uplifting) in this day and age. I live in Westfield, NJ and had him redo my front walkway. Miguel went out of his way to make sure that I was satisfied with the finished product. He was forced to return because I was sold defective SEK Polysweep product by an unscrupulous vendor. Mr. Amaya redid the work by replacing the SEK product with the much better Gator Maxx polymeric sand. if you need hardscaping work done, hire Miguel Amaya, a decent, hard working, honest professional. STAY AWAY from Empire Building Supplies (see my review on them) and SEK Polysweep -- the product is garbage and the people who make/sell it know nothing about being good people who TRUTHFULLY care about fairness and/or their customer. Mr. Amaya would not accept my paying him a second time although he was forced do the job twice through no fault of his own. It was so unjust ** and yet so telling of the type of decent human being that Miguel Amaya is. Unlike the others I dealt with (at Empire and SEK), he was more interested in doing the right thing by me than he was about money. How rare. I was lucky to find such a good person and worker. I highly recommend him."

"Prompt service. They went above and beyond to make sure my yard was looking neat heading into the winter months. Im not a handy one with landscaping. My yard needed some tough work and they came through. Will definitely have them back in the spring to kick off the warm season with mulching."

"It worked out well.  One of my concerns had been that the 40 hours of work could equal five guys completing the work in one day. I felt that was misrepresented. He completed the work within 8 hours and included a lunch break. He got the work done that he agreed to do. They cleaned up well and even blew off the driveway. His workers were young adults who seemed to be energetic. I assumed I received the amount of mulch that I paid additional for. I felt that the price was a little high. There was an additional cost of $486 for 13 yards of mulch. I did point out to them how my neighbor’s yard had weeds coming up through the same type of black mulch he had just laid. They explained there are some weeds you cannot keep from coming up through the mulch. He put prim down before laying the mulch and also advised that I should use it after the job is complete. It has been one month since the work has been complete and no weeds have come up through the mulch. He was cordial and professional. He did complete some of the work with the guys as well as supervising the job. I possibly would hire them again after comparing with other companies."
