"These guys are great! I would hire them again any time for more work on a patio, or any landscaping needs. We wanted to install a small patio under our deck from our walkout basement. We thought we would get just a small concrete pad, so I called around to several places. Most of them did not call me back, or said the job was too small. Our real estate agent who sold us the house several years ago suggested I contact Patios and More to see about a paver patio. Mike Cordes got back to me almost immediately. He quickly scheduled a time to come out and see what we our space looked like. We liked what he had to say about building a new patio using pavers instead of poured concrete. He developed a plan in about a week along with a cost proposal. He came back out to our house to show us the plan. We liked it and signed the contract. He put us in their schedule for about 6-8 weeks later, and said it would take about three days to complete the job. Instead, they were here in about three weeks and worked a couple of long days to complete the job in only two days! We are quite happy with the final patio. They did a tremendous job. Some key take-aways about this company: - Their cost was quite reasonable for the quality of the final patio. - They are reliable - they show up when they say they will and do what they say they will do. - They did everything we agreed to in the contract with no questions and no changes, and actually went beyond our expectations. - We were particularly impressed with their attention to cleaning up and repairing the lawn. This repair was part of the original contract since they knew they would have to drive a loader across the existing lawn. They repaired everything with high-quality sod so it looks even better than the original lawn. - The entire crew was friendly, professional, and really knew what they were doing. They all seemed happy to answer questions we had as the job proceeded. - They are just a great group of people. We most highly recommend them."

We had a large 8ft decaying retaining wall in our alley with a 100 year old 60 ft tree bumping up to it. We were quite apprehensive to replace the wall due to the tree. "Despite our horrid weather, project was done in under 3 weeks from estimate to completion. Tom had a great understanding of what was needed/wanted and suggested material to complete the project in a better way than we initially envisioned when we thought we'd do it ourself. His crew installed the already-purchased pavers, leveled, dug out dirt and rocks, filled in under the AC and the dog holes, and did a professional installation of both the pavers and the new small retaining wall which we hadn't thought about (we'd put in cinder blocks and cheap rectangular pavers for toppers years ago and they were extremely deteriorated). Excess dirt was used to fill in holes, excess sod was put in places it was needed. They even moved my day lilies and irises to the designated area. They also took care to keep the gate closed as much as possible and accommodated my going in and out to potty our dogs while they were working. Everyone was professional and pleasant. The difference is amazing. We feel we received great value for our money and will definitely hire Tom again should we need more landscaping done."

"The project was completed on time and turned out well. We have a boulder wall and the new boulders are much bigger and should stay in place. The workers were experts, very impressive. The only snag was that the machinery cut the sprinkler line and getting someone out to fix that is proving to be very sdifficult"

Chris, the owner, reviewed my project needs, suggested block style and color, described the process in detail and provided an estimate.  To ensure I would be satisfied with the color choice, he directed me to another project he completed in my area where the same block was used.  The selection was perfect and I hired Artistic Landscapes. 

The crew arrived on time and completed the project as planned. Chris was on site throughout the project to answer any questions I might have and to ensure all was on track.  The effort entailed removal of the existing flagstone wall, digging and setting a base, and removal of left-over flagstone and soil. They also had to accommodate my gutter drainpipe, and I was impressed with their solution. The team was professional, well organized and efficient.

They were able to start work on the project within a couple of weeks and completed the job very quickly. I think I got a great result for a good price. The price included removing all the existing rock and plantings from the previous landscaping."
