"The remove and the build went fine. Two years later I noticed the wall tilting. One year after that it was worse and I contacted Randy Lewis (owner) and he came out and inspected and agreed that he needed to come back out and excavate and rebuild the top 3 feet of the wall with more "deadmen" reinforcements. It is now 6 months later and despite promises he has not showed up. Soon it will be snowing and freeze the ground."

"We are thrilled with the work done by Tom and his crew (spring 2019). From start to finish, the job included the planning, meetings to discuss all new plants and what we wanted (native and pollinator-friendly), removal of ALL old plants and bushes, installation of edging, purchasing and planting all the new planting on all four sides of the house, re-seeding lawn areas as needed, all new mulch, etc. Tom has been 100% reliable, easy to communicate with, super flexible and willing to listen to our desires. He also has fabulous, polite, punctual employees. Highly recommended!"

"I wanted to give more stars as clearly they have good ratings. But we were let down TWICE. The first time we let it go, we were upset but decided these things happen, however two times in a row and it’s just disappointing. We ordered stone about a week ago they couldn’t give us an exact time frame which was fair they said it would be delivered sometime between 8am and 6pm. We called multiple times that day probably 3-4 times inquiring about our delivery And each time they told us it would definitely be there before 6, but that our order hadn’t even been loaded onto the truck. We said ok. 5:30 comes around and they cancel our order due to the weather ( mind you that has been forecasted the entire past couple days) and when I called previously the multiple times was reassured it would be delivered. 30 minutes before end time. We waited around for 10 hours for a cancelled order. We were upset and they said they would deliver it the next day we asked them to please be considerate and deliver as early as possible, they told us it was no guarantee and the same time frame was held. That made us livid. However they did end up delivering first thing the next morning so we let it go. Now on to our mistake of placing another order. We ordered 7 yards of mulch was told they no longer had there back order and they were open to deliver any day so we set our day up ( now this time we played it smarter on the chance that they screwed us over again and had it delivered the day before). And again we were given the same time frame of 8am and 6pm. So the day of I call multiple times And I am reassured it would be there by 6. I’ll save the guess work and tell you It wasn’t. When I called at 5:30 my last time she laughed and told me I was even lucky to get told a time frame of 10 hours. And I reminded her that it was 30 min to 6pm and she checked my order and said that it wasn’t even loaded yet. I was furious, she said it would come but not by the time frame. THAT THEY GAVE ME. And I reaffirmed multiple times that day each time being told “yes it will be there by 6.” What’s super frustrating is the fact that their phone message states they pride themselves on customer service yet they don’t have the decency to update us on our order. And then the delivery fee we still have to pay when they can’t even keep their word is ridiculous. For a company who prides themselves on service they did a poor job.. twice. The second was our fault we should of never ordered from you again to begin with. We are extremely disappointed."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Stockbridge, MI

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
