"We are in the process of listing our home and needed our house painted within a quick time frame. Atlanta Painting Company was a fantastic find. The whole process from quote to finished product took about two weeks. The crew arrived on time each day, did a great job covering my furniture and papering the floor. They finished the job in two days and even came back to my house after they had left for a final inspection as I wasn't home yet. Gladly fixed one small issue that I saw. The price was beyond reasonable in my opinion. Will 100% use them for painting projects in the future."

Customers say: Super punctual

"Jose and his crew did a fantastic job! Even though they had to battle the weather (rain and temp), they still got the job done in a timely manner. We were getting new gutters so they removed all of our old ones, repaired problem areas on our deck and chimney, including installing flashing. We also went from a very dark trim color to a bright gloss white so it wasn’t the easiest to cover but they got it done beautifully. Jose is very curious, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again for any paint project that comes up in the future."

"I had the company paint my tri-level townhouse; repair walls and replace a door. It was not an easy job but it was done with good work quality, professionalism and any concerns I had were handled with punctuality. I am planning on having them back to do more work within the next month. Thank you Martin and Son!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Stone Mountain, GA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
