"The job started with us needing someone to replace some siding on the chimney due to water leaking in behind the siding causing
deterioration and paint peeling off of the siding. The job was relatively small and consequently we contacted several qualified contractors and they were not willing to even come and scope out our job. Somebody referred us to Maximus and when I called and
talked to Eric, he was willing to take on the project even though it was relatively small. When he showed up to evaluate the situation and give an estimate for the job, he discovered that the cause of our problem was that we had a concrete cap around our chimneys that had cracked and separated and allowing water to seep in and deteriorate the trim boards and siding. We agreed to have him replace the siding and trim boards and to replace the chimney chase because his quote was very reasonable. During this same visit, I was asking him about the condition of the shingles on the roof because they had been in place for 20 years. They were showing signs of wear but he said they could last another year or two. I inquired as to the cost of him roofing the house too while he was doing the other jobs for us and that quote seemed very reasonable so I agreed to that job as well. He finished the total project today in less than a week and everything looks really good. He maintained the schedule that he promised and he was on site nearly every day to make sure things were running smooth. We will definitely call Maximus again when the need arises.

I had JC roofing come and look at the roof and they found a hole where I could see a leek had been in the house and gave the option to fix or replace the entire roof. I went with an entire roof replacement because the house was 20yrs old. JC Gave me all the Info I needed to Insure my roof through the materials manufacturer and came out to my house multiple times to ensure the color and material was what I desired. Very good company. They also did the roof on schedule with no price changes and cleaned up after themselves. He even let me throw away some old furniture in the dumpster he rented for the roof material. All in all I was very pleased. And In twenty years I will come back to have do again"

I talked with the and quot;head guyand quot; about my roof indicating I had lost several shingles and he said he would come and check it out. I had purchased an Angies List voucher for a roof inspection and minor repair. We discussed this and I understood it, of course, would not include roofing.

After touring my roof he said all the roof cap shingles would have to be replaced and gave me a price. No, he did not discount the $79 I had paid for the AL voucher(?). Seemed to think that was okay. Said it would take x number of shingle bundles. He left for quite a while...said he crew would be there within 30 minutes..wrong again. He arrives, crew arrives. Heard him and crew talking and crew said it wouldn't take nearly that many bundles. He comes in to leave and collect (before job is completed). I said not paying until job is done, besides heard the conversation so need to change price. We did.

Overall, he was arrogant, indifferent and not pleasant to deal with. However, his crew was wonderful. Worked hard and at the end did some extra for me. I feel sorry for them having to work for such a pompous person.
