"Top notch service! I recently had my Sunesta awning get stuck in the open position. The motor failed and the weather forecast was for wind and showers. I contacted Express Sunrooms on a Friday night and Jeff and Scott responded the next morning securing the awning in its closed position and diagnosing the motor problem. The motor arrived about 2 weeks later and Jeff installed it. In addition, he noticed the brackets pulling away from the house because the house was not designed to hold an awning, so Express Sunrooms re-installed the awning with a header board that not only looks nice but will hold the awning securely. I cannot say enough good things about the service, response and professionalism that Express Sunrooms in Ladson demonstrated in solving this problem for me. I am very comfortable in highly recommending them to anyone seeking products and services that they offer."

We've been creating dream outdoor spaces for our clients across the Lowcountry since 2020. Our owner and founder, Charleston native Tyler Prowell, continues to lead our professional team.
"We would give zero (0) stars if that was available. We were extremely frustrated and disappointed with Tyler Prowell/Prowell Construction and now appear to be out over $16,000.00. We hired Tyler Prowell/Prowell Construction for a backyard project and ran into numerous issues. We paid a partial deposit of over $27,000.00 in August 2022 for upfront costs and project materials and work started October 2022. A privacy fence was built, our backyard and patio were excavated, and a drain pipe was installed between October 2022 and January 2023. So after 15 months of limited to no progress, limited communication, and a variety of excuses; we had to terminate the contract in January 2024. Upon termination, Tyler Prowell/Prowell Construction stated via email that he would begin the process of returning the over $16,000.00 balance due for work that we paid to have done but he never completed. We have not received any of the remaining $16,000.00 to date. We have attempted numerous times to contact Tyler Prowell/Prowell Construction, along with our attorneys, but he has not responded to any form of communication. We now have to hire a different contractor to repair the damage to our backyard and complete the project."
