"Jeff was timely, but after two trips the job was not completed. He was asked to give estimate on replacing brick molding and he never called or came back. Really poor business. Would not hire this company again"

"Feb 20th It started off fine initially. The guy came out to diagnose the problem and he determined that we needed a new hot water heater by filling the bathtub I use regularly. He procrastinated about sending the diagnosis to warranty company but finally did on another day. The w/h was ordered and we waited and waited. They called to book a return on March 1 and I asked if they could come after 12 noon as he wanted to come at 9am. He told me to leave the garage door open and he’d come over and get it done. I’m not comfortable with that, as much of our belongings from the move are still in there plus we have an alarm. We finally agreed that he would come here between 10 & 11. That never happened. He called at 11:20 stating that he was still at the supplier waiting on them. Thats a 20 minutes drive, I figured so I fixed my lunch. Then next thing about 10 minutes later he was here with 2 hwh on the flat bed trailer. He was ambivalent about the wood railings around the tank and wouldn’t commit to not punching a whole in the wall that leads to the bedroom. He said it might happen by flinging the Hammer. Then he stated that he wouldn’t replace the railings. After hemming and hawing and calls to warranty company and spouse, and an attempt to call his boss. All while He too made phone calls to I don’t know who, and smoking his cigarettes. Hubby and I thought well, we’ll let him go ahead. Then he said he didn’t want to do it. I asked him to leave my water heater here then and he refused. He told me about another customer, I’m not sure why, but his boss told them to sue him. Very strange. Then he just drove off. This was really unprofessional of the company as they’d been here before a week and a half prior to access the tank in the garage. We don’t really want them back here. I’m not sure how this is going to resolve. I’m hopeful that the warranty company will just give us a buyout. Ugh! What a waste of time with a useless company."

Yes, roof cleaning is a necessary task. A clean roof keeps moisture from seeping under shingles, cuts down on decay, and can add 10 to 20 years to its life. Routine cleanings also sharpen curb appeal and let a pro spot loose flashing or soft spots before they turn into repairs that cost thousands of dollars. In short, a modest cleaning bill now protects you from a far larger roofing invoice later on.
If your roof is dirty, mossy, or covered in algae, start by washing your roof. In many cases, this is all that’s needed, but it’s also a helpful first step to uncovering any other issues. If your roof cleaning pro discovers missing, loose, or damaged shingles while washing, or if you notice that the flashing leaks, it may be time for repairs.
Plan on a cleaning every two to five years, but let climate guide your schedule. If you live in a damp, moss‑prone region, aim for the shorter end of that range; arid areas can wait longer. Sticking to a regular cadence keeps algae from eating into shingles and helps you avoid bigger repair bills down the road.
Schedule the job in late spring or early summer when daylight is long, temperatures are steady, and shingles are dry. A fall touchup after the leaves drop also helps you head into winter with a clear surface. Cold, icy conditions make cleaning risky and can trap water under shingles, so steer clear of freezing forecasts.
