"The whole process was very easy and un stressful, being I never had this done before that helped a lot. The quote process was easy and straight forward. It's expensive but Scott Roofing was below the other quote and I did not have to do anything as they handled it all. Very professional. Lead times are a bit long but that is the nature of this work. On the day of the job an army of men showed up and got on it very fast. They almost got a two day job done in a day and were cleaning up after dark. All very impressive and worth the money. The roof looks better than the rest of the house now."

"In the first week of October 2020, I called New Era Roofing Inc. and asked for a free estimate for roofing work I wanted done. (Note: I had also called several other Roofing Contractors in the Reno/Sparks area and they were short, almost annoyed by my call. They all said they charged $250.00 to $350.00 to come out to walk the roof and give an estimate for work requested. Plus, they said they could come in 2 to 3 weeks.) So, when I called New Era Roofing Inc., Jasmine Reyes, Office Manager/Job Estimator, answered; she was very pleasant and personable. She listened well and asked clarifying questions about my roofing job and the critical short-fused timing to get it completed. She then scheduled Jose Perez, the Owner, to come out the next day to give a free estimate. Jose came on time and walked our roof, took measurements and photos of the roof job site. Jose explained - with photo examples from prior jobs that New Era Roofing Inc. had done - our job to install new gutter edging on our existing 2-story home would entail: removing the first 3-tiers/rows of cement edge tiles, installing new felt paper, new batting, and galvanized metal edging; and then refitting exact tiles in their respective spots. There were also some cracked and broken tiles that were pointed out by Jose during his initial inspection and these were included in the job bid to also be done. Jose said he'd give the information to Jasmine and she would, in turn, Email me their work/job bid (including labor and all materials) the next day. Sure enough Jasmine Emailed the job bid to me the next day; and, she followed up by calling me directly to ensure I received it and to let her know if I had any questions. Upon review of the job bid I called Jasmine to ask how best to move quickly to get the job started. Jasmine said she'd personally drive over to our house; she did and we signed the contract and gave her the deposit to begin the job next week; now that was quality service, above and beyond! So, first thing the following week, Jose and his 6-man roofing crew showed up as scheduled. They took two full days to do the job; they worked from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., taking only an hour for lunch and a short break in the mid-afternoon. The work crew were all very professional, hard working, had great attention to detail, and busily went about each of their assigned duties without needing to be told. My wife commented that the work crew kept to the job at hand, i.e., they talked little, kept eyes focused on their immediate task; and, they didn't spend time gazing into other neighbors yards or pausing to admire the view from high above. Upon the completion of the work, Jose shared pictures of the various stages of the job and said Jasmine would be forwarding them to me the following day along with my final job invoice marked "paid in full," which she did. In addition, I was most impressed that Jose's work crew found a few roof features that were not done properly during the initial construction of our house; they took it upon themselves to make the necessary changes/repairs to correctly bring them up to code. The work crew totally cleaned up all debris and leftover materials upon completion of the job. They even put aside a dozen or so spare tiles (that they culled out from the upper roof) to be used in any future tile repairs; a true quality of professional roofers, i.e., having the foresight to plan ahead! YES, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NEW ERA ROOFING INC. to anyone that needed timely, honest, reasonably and competitively priced, roofing work to be done on their home or business!! "Odd to give a roofer such high marks, but as a business, a service provider, and knowledge of the product, East Fork Roofing is solid. I've known I needed to replace the roof on a rental. I live out of the area, have a property manager and I ask a lot of questions. We got 3 bids as is typical. We look for the best value, not the cheapest, because we want our tenants happy and the work to be done right, once. A couple of things that really worked for me: 1) EFR does a 2 step bid. The 1st is via satellite image and the 2nd, if accepted, is done on site. I talked to Mike D extensively about this and it really makes sense to keep their costs in line and service high. I even had my contractor preview the eaves etc. before having their on-site inspection done and the findings were identical. 2) They over communicate and are systematic (Jacky rocks!). I liked this because at each step of the way they had a plan, they shared the plan, and they worked the plan. Any changes to the plan were discussed and agreed to. (I am not used to this level of service with most contractors. Yet, it is the way it's supposed to be and I like it.) 3) They know their product and helped redirect me to the optimal product for our property. We discussed light tile roofs, architectural tiles, a metal roof, a roof fan, new base plywood sheathing etc. I even asked if they installed the overlaps and troughs according to the manufacture's standards (that I saw on youtube). Because we got 3 proposals and we searched the web, it was easy to verify their info. They were spot on accurate on all fronts. My questions (over multiple calls) were welcomed, and they were honest about what roof work they do well and best and what kind of roof work they would want to pass on. I liked their candor. 4) They photograph the work in progress. I wanted to be on site. After day 1's summary, there was no need. I could see the demo, the plywood work, the sheathing, the shingles install. In addition, this roof had a really tricky over hang limiting access. And yes, they figured out how to do it. It looks great and better yet.... it works with no issue. (read item 3). (my friend in Reno checked their work. After day 2, there was no longer a need for my friend to drop by and check things out.) 5) After all this I was concerned about the price..... good news, they are clear about pricing...... before starting work! Having worked with a lot of change orders and contractor surprises, these guys were straight. (read item 2). And No surprises. They knew what I needed for the roof and priced it accordingly - with confidence. Roofing is a tricky business. I know there are other good roofers in Reno. I've interviewed them. But for the other 2 roofs I have to do over the next year, I am going with Mike and team. They they run a solid & predictable business process, the roof looks great and more importantly, I don't expect to have to do anything with the roof again for 40 years. Nice Job East Fork Roofing."

"The provider requested OK from Choice Warranty and he was denied. It rained last night and rain came into my home. It could have been avoided if Choice had just approved what I requested. Now, the damage will be greater than necessary. I blame Choice home warranty for my home damage. Now it will cost mote than a simple tarp could have prevented until I could get money to repair roof. The provider was great and tried his best to get something done to my roof but Choice Warranty was horrible and no help. They get a "zero" from me"

"We had Todd come in and look at several items from the inspection report after we bought a new house. The work performed was prompt, professional and reasonably priced.
Todd's crew applied epoxy to seal the garage floor and install a vapor barrier in the crawl space. They also moved a heating vent for us as well.
We would have hired them to do more work for us, but given their prices and quality they are very busy!
