"Deck Cetera provided exceptional customer service.  They were prompt in scheduling the appointment, and they were able to get us on the schedule the same week.  They sent Jean to conduct the estimate, she was prompt in arriving to our home and very pleasant.  She answered all of our questions and had tons of pictures to guide us in identifying what we wanted for our deck addition. She was very knowledgable about the different decking materials and helped us in making a decision about deck material.  She was provided an estimate on the spot per our request. Additionally, she followed up with a nice drawing of our project and pricing options relative to different material . Overall this company has exceptioonal customer service, going above and beyond.  Unfortunately we decided to go with another company which provided a price more aligned with what we were planning to spend.

It was pretty good, not an A experience -- but a B.  The price was very good and the work was acceptable.  They were not super professional -- some late projects.  Something was backordered, a subcontractor didn't show, the assistant wasn't working out -- so the projects took longer than initially planned.  And in terms of quality they were pretty good.  The dormers that were wrapped in aluminum look great.  The concrete work was excellent.   The plumbing and electrical work were great.  The interior paint was pretty good - it was also a great price so no complaints.  A shutter they secured fell off.  And the gutter detached -- but they repaired it. The shingles they replaced when they put the new rake board on fell off -- on both sides of the house.  They didn't think it was related, but the shingles were fine for 15+ years before they removed them and tacked them back down.  So we disagree on this point.  I should have brought it their attention earlier.  Overall, they did a lot of very good work at an excellent price.

"I received multiple quotes for this job.  Metropolitan was the most honest and knowledgeable.  Others tried to bill for unnecessary work like a complete re-lining of the chimney and a rebuilt smoke chamber.  Their crew was professional and did quality work from what I can tell.  They left the place clean, although it took them several days to recover the tarp they put over the chimney since it started raining when they were completing the job.  I'd hire these guys again for chimney repairs or cleaning.
