The work was performed in a timely manner and the agreed-upon price. During construction, they kept the site clean and free of excess debris. I recommend this company for your flagstone granite needs. In addition, they installed new concrete at my neighbors property, and the finish of the concrete work was outstanding. The workers were courteous and respectful of me as well as my neighbors."

He connected with our family in such a fun way. He went through every inch of our yard with us and made sure everything was more than perfect and to our liking. He led his crew well. He communicated with us constantly. He also made sure the whole family, including our 3 young children, had FUN with the construction process. My kids looked forward to having Aaron visit each morning. He was a burst of sunshine and made sure it was a pleasant experience. In fact, we were heartbroken when the project completed because it was such a fantastic experience. Aaron worked long hours to make sure our backyard turned into our dream space for the family. He is extremely knowledgeable in construction and made sure everything was beautiful crafted. We made revisions along the way, and he always overcommunicated to make sure we were happy. We received daily job comments via email that helped us stay updated on the work for each day. Aaron is an outstanding manager and person. Any future job will be lucky to have him as a manager. Not only were Jeff and Aaron wonderful, but I also want to comment on the workers. We have a large window in our family room that our children and I would look out of each day. We commented that they literally never stopped for one second. They just kept on going and going and going. Their work ethic was outstanding. All the men were respectful, polite, and friendly. They showed up early every day and worked long hours, 6 days a week. They were all experts in their work. We were impressed with their skills. "Mike and his team were best in class. We hired Mike to repave the concrete around our yard, install new fencing, and build a retaining wall and basketball court in our backyard. He had a great eye for the project's design, worked together to finalize the plan, and executed on time, on budget, and with great care. His team was extremely professional and always on time. "I waited to put up a review for Pacific Outdoor Living until I could give a full story. Our goal was to fix up our backyard which had never been 'scaped before. We had POL put in a patio of pavers with a grill placed and landscape the entire backyard. We also had an in ground water fountain set up. The job went as planned on time. The different crews were extremely polite and respectful. Very professional. The job turned out beautifully but there were some issues, which thankfully POL has been willing to address. To start, they are a solid pavers company. That is their absolute strength. They know what they are talking about here. The patio and grill are awesome. We had it set with electrical wiring for both an outdoor fridge and a countertop outlet. We also had them run conduit over to a spot where we later installed a jacuzzi. They did a fantastic job. We hired them to also do the landscaping and as we learned, while they do this well, it is not their 1st expertise. They provide this in order to do complete jobs. I suspect there is always going to be loss of some vegetation after installation. This is probably the one thing you can't guarantee but there are other companies we got estimates from where landscaping was clearly their primary expertise. Nevertheless, POL has always owned anything that didn't go perfectly. The landscaping looked great but some of the sod and some of the water resistant plants didn't survive. They replaced whatever needed to be replaced. Even after the summer heat wave and drought where we were limited to watering the lawn to twice a week and had grass die. They listened to my issues which they agreed were not my fault. They owned up to the fact that the sprinkler zones were not perfectly laid out. More than a year later, they came out and just added an additional zone for the lawn, replaced some of the ground cover. In addition, the outlet on our new grill/counter shorted out with the heavy rains this winter as somehow water managed to seep under the covered outlets; they replaced this as well. It would have been more ideal if everything turned out perfectly from the beginning but with these projects, one has to assume there will be some issues. What you want is a company that stands by its work and will not balk at fixing things. POL owned it all and has impressed me by doing so. I am so impressed that I am buying a new batch of mulch from them. I would hire them again even with the landscaping issues because they did not walk away from the problems even after the initial three month warranty. They are a class act."

"Hutch was professional and personable , easy to talk to about my design for front yard. His experience in design suggested minor adjustment of my idea/drawings but willing to landscape any way of my preferences. His contract was thoroughly itemized and didn’t add any additional “surprise” costs. Payments were installments as project progressed. Hardworking Crew stayed on expected timeline. Hutch came by every day to supervise progress of our landscaping. Our front and backyards were transformed from weed fields into beautiful landscaping. Removed weeds and unwanted plants, prepped surface, laid weed barrier and installed Artificial turf in backyard, laid pavers and stone walkway. Transformed front yard into rock riverbed surrounded by plants accented with boulders, and installing drip system. Planted border shrubs and a rose garden. Lined walkway and rose garden with pavers matching our flagstone. Our sewer line needed realignment which Hutch arranged to be repaired. Other company estimate quotes were either vague, didn’t itemize, or way over priced. Offered a few addresses for us to drive by to see his actual work which helped us on our decision to work with Hye Turf Design. I would highly recommend Hye Turf Designs. Thanks Hutch !"

"We are thrilled by the results! Mike and his crew took out 10 boxes of dirt from a hill in our back yard all manually! They then installed a 50 x 4ft retaining wall (fully permitted) on the hill. After that poured a 60 x 10 concrete deck and steps to our new upper deck that now overlooks the pool. They then covered the new wall and existing lower wall with new custom colored stucco. "We hired Cipriano to removed about 2,000sf of gravel and plants at our new house and put in a new irrigation system with new grass. His pricing was lower than the other bids we received and he was able to get started as soon as we gave him the go ahead. Working with him was truly a pleasure. He noticed some of the plants we had in an upper planting area had died so he transplanted some of the ones we were taking out at no extra cost. He made sure everything was done correctly and you can tell he really cares about what he does. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. "G&L came out to hardscape our lawn, planter box and driveway. Mike met with us a few times and gave us designs and layout for planter (and some drought resistant plants that will continue to grow). We also had a few meetings with Dee to discuss the schedule, design, paving stone samples (from Angeles stone), and address drainage solutions for the synthetic lawn. Very accommodating to our schedule - holding off for 2 weeks while we were out of town. Once work started, Carlos and his did a quick and superb job with demo, clearing, pavers and turf. They were all super friendly and answered any and all questions we had during the process. We're happy with result(s) and would recommend!"
