"Roots from a large tree had damaged a brick wall, a concrete pad, and the corner of a hangar. Pete surveyed the project and provided counsel on how to proceed. We chose to reconfigure the wall and save the tree. Pete's part of the project was to replace the brick wall. The wall is beautiful - better and stronger than the original. "A-1 was excellent and professional in all respects. The estimator met with me when he said he would and gave me an accurate estimate. They had scheduled the work for the week before Christmas, but when an earlier date became available, asked if we could change the date. We agreed, and the crew arrived on time at 7 AM and started tearing out the existing driveway. By 3:30 PM, our existing driveway was torn out, supporting rocks were added, forms laid, concrete with fiber and rebar poured and smoothed. They also widened the walkway to the front door as we asked. The forms were removed two days later, and after 5 days (their recommendation), we were able to drive on it. We discovered a bonus: A-1 had smoothed out the end of our steep and short driveway so that it no longer scraped the bottom of our car! A-1 totally earned its reputation here on Angie's List!"
