"Joseph was extremely thorough and friendly to boot.  Unbelievably, he sat down with me for more than three hours creating a design and going over options with me.  I have a small kitchen and dining room that he was able to turn into a stunning open concept kitchen using his computer software program.  
Joseph took measurements of the dining room, kitchen, and living room so that his design would be to scale and I could see exactly how the open floor-plan would look. He went into great detail on the type of cabinets and the purpose of each cabinet.  He even took into consideration whether I was right or left handed when deciding cabinet placement.  He not only gave his professional recommendations, but he listened to my wants and needs for the massive island I'd like to have.
Unlike his competitor, instead of quoting me a low-ball price based on the assumption that the wall being removed is not a load bearing wall, he climbed onto a ladder and checked the attic to find out whether or not the wall could be removed cheaply.  He went over the expense of taking down the support wall, and discussed options.  
I cannot believe the level of service I received for such a small price.  The service I received for $29.00 is valued at $500.  After that appointment, I can say that it is definitely worth hundreds.
