But AL keeps sending me requests for review and since I think this is what we go on Angie's List for - to determine who is reliable, professional or not I decided to do this review! They were very nice people, they did a good job in cleaning out chimney and not making a mess. So I also had them do my dryer vent which exhausts up and out through a vent on my flat roof . I thought it would be simple to accomplish! However, he pulled the vent cover off.. instead of trying to find a way to unscrew or ???? and when he did so, he ripped it out of its mooring and cannot be put back on properly. and since I had foam and elastomeric roof coating this was ripped out of that coating and left a big gash of open foaming! Next time it rained... leaked into the ceiling of bedroom below this. I had stated when he was doing it... you can't pull that off there it is imbedded in the roofing! So I feel that this was not a very professional decision on his part to see this was going to be and then chose to pull that off there and thereby create the leak issue!"

"We bought a new washer and dryer and after only 3 weeks the "check vent" light came on. My first thought was a malfunction, but after some inquiries and research, we learned that cleaning the lint filter in the dryer after every load isn't enough. I called Dryer Vent Doctor and spoke to Paul, who explained the machine needs clear air flow to the outside (also to prevent a fire). He explained the process, set an appointment for less than 2 days away, and arrived precisely on time. Paul was very personable and professional and instilled a lot of confidence in us. The quality of his work was outstanding: he cleaned out the entire duct, working from both the bottom of the vent and from the roof. He also discovered and removed a misplaced baffle left from original construction that was partially blocking the duct. The entire process took just under 1/2 hour. It was the best $99 we've spent in a long time. We will definitely hire Paul on a regular basis now (once a year or two) to keep our dryer vent cleared out, and highly recommend him."

"They were great and they did a good job at first. They cleaned it out They were supposed to fixed the fireplace because it was not lighting. So, they serviced it and a couple of weeks later it was not lighting again. I called them and they were going to come out in 2 days but never showed up. i have called them repeatedly to try to reschedule but they don't return my phone calls. So I am out of $225 and my fireplace doesn't work."
