" Professional - Whole crew is on time start to finish. They all go above and beyond to do the work the right way . The painters are all polite and respectful. They do not cut corners and when they are finished, they clean up and it looks like magic happened. Honesty and integrity are number 1 ! "

"Drew was a very kind and knowledgeable painter. He had great line work and the cabinets in the bathroom he did for me was perfect. I would use him and only him for any future jobs and I would recommend him to anyone. 10/10!"

"RnR Handyman quickly responded with an estimate which was in line with our expectations. Robert worked daily on the projects until they were completed with the exception of Sunday off. He added gutters, rescreened and painted porch supports, cleaned and stained the deck plus misc. handyman jobs. He is a pleasure to work with, comes to our home ready to work and is well organized. Rene', the office manager, quickly responds to calls, texts and emails. She is knowledgeable and very polite."

"Christian and his crew did a great job on our bathtub replacement with a large shower. Tile work is excellent, crew was very personable and helpful. Job was done professionally and finishes are great. An additional job replacing fascia on our house was done very well and quickly. I would recommend Seven Degrees for any remodeling work needed."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Swansboro, NC

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
