"The job was a very lengthy job due to how much was being bricked. It was an extremely hard job due to the location and getting the flow properly done from the porch which was in the front of the house, winding all the way to the back along the garage and to the patio. They did a fantastic job on everything. It looks beautiful. I even called them back for a few repairs and they were prompt to get here and to take care any problems. I would definitely recommend Austin Brick Pavers to do your job!"

"They were punctual, thorough, and did what was expected from them. They explained how they did and what they were doing, to my mother when I was there. The only thing I did not like was their cost because they estimated verbally one price and then the price went up from what we thought; it was another $100 more than what we expected. The person I spoke to was not always easy to contact."

"I called in the morning and they had a technician in my area already. They were able to be at my house in about 1.5 hours. It took them an hour to survey the situation and fix all of the issues. They gave me a fair estimate of hardware costs. The technician was very friendly and tried to re-use equipment when possible. He also gave me a great tip on how to address a particular area in my lawn next year. Much appreciated!"

"<p>H & M Landscaping installed a drainage area for me in 2013.  I called Brian, as the ground had settled and it was not functioning as installed.  Brian came out and looked at the problem himself, and shortly (about 3 weeks) he had some of his crew to do the repair.  Brian and his whole crew know what they are doing and how to do it.  I would recommend them for any size job.</p> <br />"

"It went well.  The owner of the company came out himself to allow me to show him exactly what I wanted done.  He was a very pleasant gentleman to talk to and after the job was completed he came back out to see if I was satisfied.  His foreman who ran the job, Paul, was a very knowledgeable fellow and while doing the job explained things to his fellow workers, so their was no misunderstanding about what was to be done. <br />"

"When working with a contractor, you want to work with someone that does quality work and then stands behind their work. That is exactly what I experienced with Dan’s Custom Brickwork this year. We’ve worked with Dan’s Custom Brickwork for work on both our home and for the walls for our homeowner’s association due to the quality of the work. This was the reason that we selected Dan’s again to have some work done on the wing wall of our garage. While repairing the tuckpointing on the wing wall, the crew inadvertently nicked the wiring for the light that sits on the top of the wing wall which caused the light not to work. I notified Deborah, the Dan’s Custom Brickwork Office Manager, about the issue of the light not working and she worked with Dan, the owner of Dan’s Custom Brickwork, to get Dan out to assess what had happened, When Dan saw that his crew was responsible for nicking the wiring during the tuckpointing process he sent his crew out to take the portion of the wall to allow for rewiring of the light, at no cost to me. After the electrician rewired the light, Dan’s crew came back out and rebuilt the wall, again at no cost to me. Based on both the quality of the work by Dan’s Custom Brickwork and the integrity of the owner, Dan, I would highly recommend Dan’s Custom Brickwork as the contractor of choice for brickwork. Knowing that a contractor will stand behind their work and be there to ensure complete customer satisfaction is the hallmark of Dan’s Custom Brickwork."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Swartz Creek, MI

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
